That song glorifies killing people that threaten our freedoms. It fans the flames of revenge, and justifies retaliation. It paints a picture of a bad assed, boot in your eye America. It glorifies war, and stirs a sense of pride in America's sorid history of striking back a death blow when provoked. It's a flag waving, chest thumping, shoot the wounded and take no prisoner, to hell with the rest of the world type of song that should ......it should ........well ......... it should be our national anthem. Just a quick History refresher - The United States kicked Germany and Japan's aggressive asses back in the 40's. Have these two countries given anybody any trouble sense? We bombed Lybia's arrogant dictators home in the 1980's Don't we all just get along swell with out new friends in Lybia now? And lets not forget our closest Ally England. I think we had to bloody their nose too to get them to leave us the hell alone. Nobody is friends with someone they can't respect. We made the mistake of NOT kicking Germany's ass completely in 1918, nor North Koreas in the 50''s, and Iraq's in 1991. Guess what? We had to do the job twice. (North Korea is next, as soon as we mop up in Iraq.) Give George W credit for one thing. A least he understands you don't fight a war half way unless you want to fight it again in a few years. He also understands the concept of winning a war by overwhelming force resulting in annihilation, not the losers way of punch and jab. This country may suck in alot of ways, but overall it is better than anything else there has ever been. A LOT better. Think about this - we put up fences in America to keep people out, not to keep them in. Name one other country on Earth that people are willing to die just for chance to immigrate there.
