    im redoing my gaming room. What would be better, a 47-50 inch projection tv, or a 34 inch flatscreen widescreen?

    also what the hell do i do with all the controllers?

    also i might set up a mame rig with a small a tv for the corner.

    oh yeah an look at picking up midway arcade treasures 2 for ps2.
    its got so many sweet games

    i personally go with a flat panel plasma hdtv i saw an lcd hdtv at walmart and it looked like shit. projection screens are ok if you are in the dark and you are sitting directly in front of it. in the end it comes down to what you can afford.

    ive heard that those plasmas dont last very long like 5 years

    just get a big ass projection TV theyre cheap and last forever

    I'm at that stage myself - it's a hard fucking decision. I'm leaning towards the projection myself, though. I've also considered getting an LCD projector and hanging it from the ceiling...

    Do what I do with them, collect them off the floor periodically, put them somewhere for safekeeping, then lose them and have to buy new ones.

    Nice. If you really want to go the full nine, fashion yourself a rotating bracket for the tube inside the machine so you can play vertical games fullscreen, too (Contra, 1942, Assault, Pacman, etc).

    Got it the day it came out... ;)
