Great fucking concert. Played with My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, and a nice family-themed band called 'Cattle Decapitation.' I get there a little early, and this time with enough money to pick up a shirt and have some money for drinks (missed out on the shirt last time). I end up spending $90 on 2 T-shirts and a 'hoodie', then they fucking wouldn't let me out to put the shit in my car. Fucking great. Thank fuck for BDUs. I crammed all that shit into the cargo pockets of my pants and walked around like I had two giant tumors growing out of my thighs. Those pants will hold anything, though. TKK - decent show, glad they played a lot of their older stuff, haven't heard their newer shit before. A few people got hauled off, some wounded. Ministry - Total chaos. They started the show with the first 6 songs from their newest album, folks were getting stomped down, and my friend makes his way to the back during the first song - pussy. After playing one more song from the new album, along came the old favorites Just one fix, NWO, JBMHR (no guest vocalist this time), Filth Pig, Thieves, etc... They must've played about an hour and a half, albeit perception of time was not one of my better virtues then. Left the concert drenched, thrashed, inebriated, and deaf. Ears are still ringing today. Oh yeah, and I've got a hoodie I'll be able to wear two weeks out of every year down here.
i'm jealous! if i knew you were buying hoodies i would have sent you the dough for one. Funky Town is hot as hell too, but they keep the a/c at about 65 at school and every place else. I saw TKK YEARS ago in NY and somehow made it onto their tour bus. 8) no, i didnt give any head, you pervert.
They put on a badass show, man... Don't miss it. Pix of the shirts and the hoodie: Psalm 69 Tee (front) Buck Satan Tee (front) (back) Houses of the Molé Hoodie (front, w/ hood logo showing)
