I know I asked about a house last summer, but this one doesn't take nearly as much work. It's 52k with on a 70x100 lot. It's on a dead end road in the country. The whole back side of the house faces an enourmous hill and there are two decks built in the back. If someone should 'accidentally' fall off, they will die or be seriously injured. It's 4 BR and 1.5 BA. It needs some minor cosmetic work. No immediate neighbors... the house beside it looks similar and is abandoned. I LOVE THIS HOUSE. Comments?
yes, all you need to rerenavate that piece of shit is 2 gallons of unleaded gasoline, and one disposable lighter
whoa whoa whoa, we are on a budget i think half a gallon will work. we can add newpaper to help it i have a ton left over from spring cleaning, i had to get rid of my bed stuffin some how.
I like the 'no immediate neighbors' bit, along with the 'dead end road' idea. The two decks sound great, too. Two questions, though - how old is it? Looks like it was built in the 70's (or maybe late 60's). Normally I'd be skeptical about how long the house will last before it finally falls off the goddamn hill, but if it's been there for a while and soil/hill erosion isn't much of a factor - who knows? At the very least it'll save you a lot of trouble when it comes time to mow the lawn/dropoff. If you're serious about this, take a good look at the wiring (or get someone familiar with the shit to do it instead). Also, does the drawbridge completely cover the moat when it's down, or does it kinda dip into the water any? Another serious thing to consider - take a look at the layout of the land. When it rains, what runoff water are you going to have to deal with, and how well is the land set up to 'fence off' any minor flooding? Check for water damage to the baseboards and the outside facings, and especially the decks (of course, the decks were probably added on after the house was originally built, but look at them anyway). And above all (and this ties into the electricity point earlier) - will it support a full-on gameroom in three of the bedrooms, with outlets for 20-30 arcade games and/or air hockey tables/dart boards/neon signs/etc.? If not... our future is sooooooo shot.
IMC, I thought fat people were supposed to be jolly? The same goes for you too, Rat. Lomo, good advice. It was built in 1981. Getting a good inspection would tack another 400 bucks to the cost, but it would probably be worth it in the long run. I know it's nothing fancy, but I like the location and the fact that there's a huge waterless ravine out the back door. It looks so pretty, with all of the trees. It will look pretty year round. It makes my heart go pitter patter and I love it. It likes me too.
The house is okay, going from trailer trash to white trash is a step in the right direction. I like the idea about burning jews, i dont have any plans for tonight.
You know, I might have been born just plain white trash, But Fancy was my name. -Reba McEntire Yee-haw mother fuckers! *spits*
