spyware/adware

what do you guys use to get rid of spyware and adware? i got a elusive bastard file that i cant trake down. i know i have it cause it will randomly send popup when im not on the internet and on sites that i know dont have popups. right now i got ad-aware 6.0 but i know i still got some sort reminent file on my comp.

 

check control panel ad remove programs, and see if you see anything that shouldnt be there... there is also some really good spy software remover here

 

i guess they dont like hotlinking =\

 

I use Spybot. It's free and it works!
It's out of Germany....just do a search on Yahoo and look for the ".de" site.

i like AdAware better than Spybot.

 

Use them both, they both will remove different things. And for cleaning IE up from shit, use this as well, CWShredder

 

adaware is shit

its all about spybot s&d and another program that i will look up when i go to "work"

 

spybot found a couple more things than adaware did.
