I am alone again this weekend, so I decided to pick up a two pound London broil. I just finished it, along with two cans of Schaefer's. I am now a fucking full man. Holy shit.....I am really fucking full (it bears repeating).
That's exactly what it is. It is also called a top round steak. They are usually about two inches thick, and range anywhere between 1 and 4 pounds. With that said, I have had basically nothing but red meat and beer this whole weekend, and I could care less if I had a heart attack right now.
Lucky fuckin' bastard... it's been OE and mashed potatoes for me this weekend... heh, some Labor Day, eh?
