just been to watch daredevil... it was ok.. better than spiderman.. my gripes??.. everytime i saw kingpin i was reminded of green mile which kindof negated any menace the character would have had... oh and overuse of the backflipkick thingy..
Never was a Daredevil fan, never even gave it a chance. The notion that some handicapable fuck could actually make it in the real world (and the superhero biz) was always just too laughable to entertain. All kidding aside, yeah... I never read any of the books. Go crips. Yay. Now when the Incredible Hulk movei comes out, then - I'll go plop down a few bucks to see it. But only if they have a (speaking of handicapped) Lou Ferrigno cameo, though.

Speaking of,does anyone get any repeats of the original show on any channels?? I saw it a couple times about 3 years ago,but then it dropped back into the fucking abyss again..
No, but if it's any consolation, I bought "Return of the Incredible Hulk" on DVD at a Big Lots for like four bucks one day. I'm sure you remember that one, it's the triumphant debut of Thor, in that zany "Hollywood" kinda way...
Hey pimp, just got hold of LOTR twin towers, gonna watch it tonight with a family sized bag of popcorn and a case of stella. Hope it's as good as the first.
fuck.. stymie man it's a LOT better.. (tho there seems to be some underlying homosexual tension between a few of the characters..) the argument between gollum and smeedle is excellent
I can't wait. The kids are in bed early tonight, I also hear Michael Gambon is taking over the part of Gandalph, seems a likely successor to Richard Harris.

Richard Harris was in the fucking Harry Potter movies

look rimmer.. i read the hobbit.. anyway.. i didn't want to read the books and ruin the films for me..
LOTR is a fucking jumped up, wannabe road-movie with absolutely no character development and a tired narrative structure that just bores on ahead in both senses of the word. i.e. it's shit No stars from me.
you've either never seen the movie... or you're trying to knaw at the people on this thread... because even if you didn't like the books, the SFX were worthy of a view... and an enjoyable watch, and what the fuck are you talking about character development... Gollum, Gandalf, Strider. The whole second movie is their development, frodo and sam change the least.. because the entire trilogy is based on the simplistic ideals of hobbits... and if that changed, the ring would destroy them... so you can't really have huge developmental changes.. except even frodo is now starting to be tempted by the ring... I suggest you try better next time..

Grow the fuck up, and spend your hard-earned on Gangs of New York or something equally adult.

Now if you want a really good movie, go see Life of David Gale. It was an excellent movie, but somewhat disturbing. (You have to see the movie to understand why I use disturbing)
C'Mon everyone...we all know that the best movie of 2003 will be Inspector Gadget 2!!!! Am I right, niggas? (That was sarcasm, by the way....if you sincerely believe that Disney shit will be any good, I will personally break into your house and decapitate you with a snow shovel. And, I only remark on it because they interrupted my evening news time with commercials for that fucking diahrrea-to-video.)
