Damn when did I get so fucking old!!

Been too long since I seriously posted on here. Can't believe I joined this place in 2001. Was feeling very nostalgic yesterday and read loads of old posts, reminded me what a great laugh this place was and how I met some really great people. I hope you are all doing great in your lives and have found other outlets for all your weird and wonderful personas. Miss some of you dearly, some not so much.

You know those tortoises did well at ours. One froze when it went into hibernation and the other shoved it off the heatmat, but the other went for ages when it ousted the unwanted companion.
My stepmum died a few years back so fuck knows if it's still alive? Doubt it.
I've got a terrapin though that's my herpetology fix these days.

I was also deeply saddened to hear about Cheezedawg. John Bowen was an absolute one-off, razor-sharp, dementedly comedic nutter of the first order, who I consider myself very lucky to have known (in some capacity). And from my private interactions with him, he was also a complete sweetheart. And a gent. RIP, my friend!
