Ok. This topic is for the ladies. I was told the other day that when a woman loves someone, they never stop loving them. I wanted to know if this was true. I know that we men hold a place in our hearts for those who we once loved, but I need a female perspective. Lend a hand?
Thats a real hard one cheeze coz it all depends how the relationship finished, i've had a few but to be honest with you i don't think i ever truly loved any off them even though at the time i thought i did,the guy i'm with now is cool and i love him loads and i do believe if anything happened i would always love him no matter what...so i guess the answer after all the babberling would be yes if we girls truly love someone there will always be a special place in our hearts for them.

I probably shouldn't be posting in here, as the thread distinctly stipulated that only wimmens were to reply... Fuck it. I think there *might* be some truth to that, however in my case, the only real attachment in past fucks was shown when the prior significant? other would need something from yours truly. Be it a fuck, a 'helping hand', some assistance at the liqour store, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera, that's truly the only time I'd hear from 'em. Basically... if she keeps calling a while after the breakup, she wants something. Trust on one. Then again, this can also be a great time to rack up a few free fucks.

She left you, so you don't owe her any leeway to let her back into your life (whether you do or not, that will be your decision). Your focus should be getting on with things, moving forward, and meeting someone better. And that is it. Move forward, firmly, and unapologetically. Believe me, the next woman you meet will respect you all the more for that.
If any of them really loved me-i'd love them-even if i still didn't want to be with them.Then again,i doubt i'd have left them in the first place if that was the case.

Here's the lowdown: If I still loved him I wouldn't have dumped his sorry ass. I don't go reserving special places in my heart for ex-boyfriends. yecccch. Okay, I do have an ex that I remained friends with, only because he never did anything evil to me. It was an amicable break-up. I wouldn't say I love him though. He's a decent guy, it just didn't work out.
