    His foreign policy's promote violence.

Bush was working with Poland on a missile defense shield the operative word here is "defense" and Russia tried to leverage Bush's position in the war against Terrorist Violence against America. Bush never faltered but stood firm on principal against the Aggressive Russian's.

Obama the Nobel laureate double crossed Poland and screwed our allies on western Europe. And for all of this the world edges closer to nuclear violence.

    "Peace Prize"? MY ASS.

Obama's foreign policy blunders are many and many are to the benefit of violent regimes throughout the world. You cannot dissociate the two.

    News networks lying for Obama

    Lying for Obama

    says GDP = 3.5%

Nearly 1.7% was government tax payer money spent in a deficit on cash for clunkers.

The home buyer tax credit further accounted for a half a percentage point suddenly it looks like we are still knee deep in a recession. I will admit though that the cheer-leading they do has stimulated investment in cheep dollars to buy high risk stocks.

What happened to that cheer-leading when Bush's numbers were twice better? Seems it was all doom and gloom then.

NKorea claims to expand arsenal of atomic bombs

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - North Korea claimed Tuesday that it has successfully weaponized more plutonium for atomic bombs, a day after warning Washington to agree quickly to direct talks or face the prospect of a growing North Korean nuclear arsenal.

The announcement underlined Pyongyang's impatience over securing one-on-one talks with Washington, as well as the difficulties in dealing with a regime that resorts to threats and provocations to get what it wants.

Pyongyang's official Korean Central News Agency said North Korea had finished reprocessing 8,000 spent nuclear fuel rods, which experts say would provide enough weapons-grade plutonium for at least one more nuclear bomb.

The claim may not mean much, since North Korea is believed to already have enough weaponized plutonium for half a dozen nuclear weapons. But the timing—a day after Pyongyang warned it would beef up its nuclear arsenal if the U.S. refused to agree on bilateral talks—shows the communist regime is flexing its atomic might to push Washington to act, analysts said.

"North Korea is trying to show off its nuclear might as a way to pressure the United States to agree to the talks," said Kim Yong-hyun, a North Korea expert at Seoul's Dongguk University.

The U.S. Embassy in Seoul said it had no comment.

North Korea has long sought direct nuclear negotiations with the U.S., believing that it is the easiest, fastest and surefire way of ensuring the survival of the totalitarian regime and win economic concessions to rebuild its moribund economy.

On Monday, North Korea's Foreign Ministry warned that "if the U.S. is not ready to sit at a negotiating table with the (North), it will go its own way," an apparent threat to bolster its nuclear arsenal.

Pyongyang has claimed it needs atomic weapons to defend itself against the U.S., which fought against the North during the Korean War of the 1950s and has 28,500 troops stationed in South Korea to protect the ally.

The U.S. says it has no intention of attacking the North.

But the North said Tuesday that it remains "compelled to take measures to bolster its deterrent for self-defense to cope with the increasing nuclear threat and military provocations of the hostile forces."

KCNA reported "noticeable successes" in weaponizing plutonium.

Washington has said it is willing to meet one-on-one with the North if the talks lead to the resumption of six-nation negotiations involving China, Japan, the two Koreas, Russia and the U.S.

However, discussions between a North Korean envoy and a U.S. official last week did not yield an agreement to hold talks, both sides said.

State Department spokesman Ian Kelly told reporters Monday that Sung Kim, the chief U.S. nuclear negotiator, recently had useful discussions with Ri Gun, North Korea's No. 2 official for nuclear talks. He said the U.S. is still considering North Korea's offer.

North Korea agreed in 2007 to disable its main nuclear facility in Yongbyon—a step toward its ultimate dismantlement—in exchange for much-needed energy aid and political concessions. However, Pyongyang halted that process more than a year ago and later abandoned the pact amid international censure for a series of nuclear and missile tests.

North Korean officials restarted the nuclear facilities in April in retaliation for a U.N. rebuke of a rocket launch widely criticized as an illicit test of its long-range missile technology. The country also kicked out international nuclear monitors.

The North then conducted its second-ever nuclear test in May and later launched a series of banned ballistic missile tests, prompting the U.N. Security Council to toughen sanctions against the regime.

In September, North Korea said it was in the final stage of reprocessing spent fuel rods, and claimed it had succeeded in enriching uranium, a process that would give the regime a second way to build atomic bombs.

Tuesday's announcement was designed to hurry along negotiations, analysts said.

"North Korea is pressuring the United States to decide quickly whether it wants to resolve the standoff through bilateral talks or allow the (plutonium) to be used for atomic weapons," North Korea expert Koh Yu-hwan of Dongguk University said.

I also find it odd that Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. Isn't our country at war with two other countries right now?

I am never taking the Nobel Peace prize seriosuly again. My heart just sank when I heard he had won. So, so stupid. The excuse the comittee gave as to why they chose him was ridiculous.

Especially when you consider past recipients: Ghandi, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mendella... What has Obama done? Being first black president is a great moment in history, in american history; the rest of the world doesn't care... There are better people out there.

They're pissed off at Israel cause they have the nuke. Can't blame the jews though, if I was surrounded by hostile countries I would keep a stockpile too. Iran getting nukes is gonna shift the whole balance of power in that region. But to be fair they didn't listen to Bush either, it's been a recurring problem since the 80's. Wether it's Obama or McCain on the throne Iran will pursue nukes no matter what. It's about Israel, not the US.

Yep but the common denominator is Iran getting nuke technology from Russia. Both countries using terrorist groups as proxies to fight wars without rules. Iran using Hammas and Russia using Ossetians and Abkhazians. Much like Clinton used the Albanians against the Serbs.

And Obama is creating more violence against the people by emboldening the aggressors and stabbing out allies in the back by withdrawing the missile defense systems development.

Before its all over and even after Obama is gone the bloodletting and violence will continue due to his actions.

Who knows for sure? I'm just glad in these moments that my country is focusing on maintaining friendly relationships with everybody and stabilizing the economy. Think about it, for decades now the US have portrayed themselves as the bearer of the torch of freedom. They have been either directly or indirectly involved in all of the modern world's major conflicts. Eventually they have developped what I call Atlas-Elbow; after carrying the world's problems for so long it made everyone else unwilling to carry their own.

Now you have a president in the middle of two wars, in a financial crisis, locked in a bitter war against the media, and trying to resolve a nuclear race in the middle-east. That is a shitload of pressure. It's easy to criticize sometimes, but being the leader of a country is probably a thousand times more stressful than whatever we have going on for ourselves. I'm a student in accounting/economics and I feel pressure just for keeping an average of 4.1 GPA.

I say let's give the guy a break and see how this works out. By the tone I get from some people it's like they would always want conservatives/republicans in power, or someone that embraces the conservative values; always. Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of democracy? Always wanting the same party or ideologies in power is an awful lot like autocracy or totalitarianism.

These of course are just my opinions.

The media worships Obama. Its the media's job to hold the president or for that matter any politician accountable and THEY DON'T because THEY WORSHIP HIM.

As for only wanting one or the other. Democrats are like cockroaches you can never fully get rid of them. But you at least have to conreol them lest we fall into an Idiocracy.

The impression I have here from the media is that they hate Obama. Everytime i turn on FoxNews they call him a commie or a nazi  . Regardless of what you think of the democrats you cannot turn them into conservatives, it's what keeps your country a democracy. It's not the media's job to hold the president accountable, its the people's. The people elects the president, the governors, the congressmen, and everyone else. In a true democracy the leaders should fear the people. But if everyone thinks the same way or is "controlled", the politicians fear nothing. That is the essence of democracy, polar viewpoints, someone always keep someone else in check.

No offense buddy but I can think of hundreds of facts that would argue that Bush's reign was an "idiocracy", and where was FoxNews when it was happening? They called anyone who disagreed with him "unpatriotic", they said you can't criticize a president in a time of war. But look at nowadays, they trash Obama whenever they can even though he's in a "time of war". So is FoxNews unpatriotic? Yes, according to them a year and half ago.

At one point you have to realize that your media is biased. MSNBC and CNN for the democrats, FoxNews and most radio talkshows for the republican. It's sad because you can't trust anything you hear on american TV these days. In Canada our news are almost boring, there are no pundits or commentators. They report the news and you make a decision for yourself, as it should be. I don't give a shit what Glenn Beck thinks or what Wolf Blitzer had for supper, just give me the darn news  .

    Exactly.

And the Democrats fear nothing. They can be child molesters and will get re-elected. They can be swindlers who take honest peoples money in shady real estate deals and will get re-elected. They can sellout their country to foreign interest and they will be re-elected. They can use the government to give their companies preferred tax breaks and they will get re-elected. They can use extortion tactics to get millions for their friends, relatives, and campaign contributors and they will be re-elected.

This is the opposite for Republicans. Can anyone tell me what Tom Delay did to lose his Senate seat? Can anyone tell me what Newt Gingrich did to lose his?

There are two sets of rules one for Republicans that the media hold heavily accountable, and one for the Democrats. The only rule for Democrats is "Do what you want but push a progressive Socialist agenda and you will get a free pass from the media"

It's not a question of lying Joe, it's the slanted spin that makes it untrustworthy.

For example let's take that school song praising Obama that outraged so many Fox pundits. Michelle Malkin and Sean Hannity were commenting on it the 4th of this month. Malkin said: " “I warned that the real problem wasn’t with the boiler plate speech… the real problem is the radicalization of these students – the use of children across America as junior lobbyists for the left that goes on every day. And it’s when parents are least paying attention that this stuff goes on.” She then went on to say: "“The National Education Association is essentially a satellite organization of the Democrats and the left… (The NEA) recommends the radical Marxist Saul Alinsky books… for these teachers… It’s the radicalism that is the real problem here.”

What they seemed to forget is that in 2006, about 100 children from Lousiana, Mississippi and Alabama sang to First Lady Laura Bush with a song praising the president, congress and the Federal Emergency Management Agency for their response to hurricane Katrina. More recently, the Dallas Morning News reported that children at a special needs school “serenaded” Laura Bush to wish her a happy birthday. Where were the talks of "indoctrination" and "radicalism" from FoxNews? Absent as far as I can tell.

Anyone who argues that FoxNews isn't conservative-oriented is oblivious. The same goes for CNN and MSNBC. The nazi/commie quote will be in my next post.

Every bit of that is true.

Teachers Union = Big time Socialist organization they contribute to the Democrats and do try to indoctrinate the kids. Remember I went to a public school in America I should know.

Your trying to compare apples to oranges. See any creepy kids with Bush shaved into their head?

There is a big different to the school choir singing a song to a president of a teacher. And schools across the nation singing Obama praises. To the same tune no less of Jesus Loves the Little Children.
