...is it that I always get my most creative ideas when I'm busy doing something else that should require all of my attention? Last night it happened again... I was supposed to be studying for a final, and I had this brilliant idea for a movie/book plot... That's the second time this has happened in the past few months. As before, I jotted a few ideas down about the story, and even drew a couple pictures (at the expense of getting a good grade on the test today). Why the fuck can't I get these ideas when I've nothing else to do? Like when I'm taking a shit, for instance. Seems like a nice allocation of 'down time' to me... Fuck it... I'm always wondering why I'm bothering with this school shit when my real passion would be acting/directing/writing... It sucks not knowing the right people...

you know... thats what i was doing before my big upheaval... well... not the acting/directing bit... the scriptwriting... but since i moved i've been too fucking busy to work on anything... luckily i do have the contacts.. (and i wish they'd stop asking me to help them with their new british gangster scripts.. no matter what exciting twists they have for them)..... but now i'm stuck here (earning dorra dorra.. has to be done i'm afraid)... i'm out of the scene too... the sooner i get my shit together and fuck off back to the big city ... the better.... this place really stifles the creativity... mind you... my thespy mates are coming for a visit in january... i feel better already oh.. and lomo.... buy a dictaphone.... i used to get some great ideas at work.. and it's quicker and easier to just speak your ideas into that when they are fresh.. and get them down on paper when you have more free-time...
