CRA was THE regulation that brought down the mortgage industry and it was a Democrat regulation. Also both president Bush and John McCain worked to reverse CRA before it was to late in 2005 and it was Barny Frank that led the resistance against Republican efforts to fix the problem. Barney Frank and the Dems are the ones who need to shoulder 90% of the responsibility for the mortgage crisis going all the way back to the Carter administration.
