yeah I like that one personality you have- the fat chick with kids, that just divorced the arab veterinarian, that just happens to be in your same state... hmmm - oh yeah - you just got outed , by yourself. Yes fugly readers, BIGMAMA and Phatboy are the same person.
I'm disappointed that you didn't know that it was a Three Dog Night song, written by Harry Nilsson. My fave Nilsson song (NSFW): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeEYQOy4oQ4
So basically BIG MAMA and phatboy are having a conversation with himself/herself..........Hmmmm.......... Sounds good to me. 1 is a great number. Here is another guy known to do the same thing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrBLnB3ze5Y
Ok now who is gonna post an Ozzy or Quiet Riot video next? Styx was underrated and watching 80's videos can be fun yet slightly embarrassing. At least it wasn't Disco or Grunge.
The Priest rocked to bad Rob was a fag. Fitting song for this day and age. Are we starting to get a little off subject here?
So Travis your a guitar aficionado I guess of sorts and admittedly I cannot play although I wish I could. But I'd like to know why Steve Vai is so respected as a player. I really don't care for his style and isn't distortion a good way to cover mistakes? Isn't it harder and doesn't it take more talent to play clean like Mark Knopfler or Eric Clapton? I really like their kind of sound so much better actually. Here is a good example of Mark I'm talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4j34gG2xR3I&feature=related
Clapton and Mark Knopfler are some of my all time favorites. Steve Vai has a unique style of playing that is not gonna be to everyone's liking, however, few player's can touch his abilities as a technician. Distortion can be used to cover up mistakes, or it can be used to help expand the vocabulary of the instrument. Actually, when the amp is turned up to 10, and distortion is on, it tends to magnify every little mistake that you make. (Edit: When Clapton was with Cream, he had a more "balls to the wall" sound that I liked even better, but in general, I like most of Clapton's stuff) Here's an example of fantastic playing that you perapes have not seen before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lbvSBNLLoo And anotherone of my favs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxTyK2sl5Oc
