Well this one is pretty self explanatory, post your biggest hyped up thing that turned out to be SHIT! I was pepping myself up for the election, hard core, and it lasted like 3 minutes before you realized obama won. I wanted an all nighter honestly, the party was cut short and shit...sucked. Even the daily show special sucked because they just delayed it.
My biggest disappointment of 2008? Tuberville leaving Auburn. I so wanted to beat his ass for the next 10 years.
The price of firearms, and the decline in ammo availability. An inevitability, but not without disappointment.
I am upset that the particle accelerator didnt throw the planet out of whack. Well, at least it hasnt yet. Im thinking like thundar the barbarian...
My biggest disappointment of 2008? That so many soft minded people believed that a first term senator who had spent half his first term campaigning was qualified for the presidency.
Well Fernando I knew that was going to be a disappointment I watched very little TV that week and did not catch any of the election. Honestly I was already disappointed I held my nose to vote McCain had he won it would only have been slightly better than what we got. Bittersweet is what the other outcome would have been. THE PARTICLE ACCELERATOR, Heh I forgot all about that dooms day experiment. For what its worth I do not think they discovered anything new did they? I like my idea of slowing down the rotation of the earth so that both days and nights would be more in tune with the sleeping cycle of an insomniac. Since the earth rotates to the east or counter clockwise looking from the North Pole I think if every vehicle on the planet were to be pointed exactly East and if at the EXACT same time everyone stomps on their accelerator (with the engine running) then the earths rotation will slow down. The catch is everyone has to coast to a stop rather then slam the brakes cause that would null the whole test.
No problem... We just have to catch Superman in one of his phone booths, and convince him to fly around the globe a few times opposite of the Earth's rotation... No big deal, really... Just a matter of timing.
