Wha? Family Matters? I watched the whole damn thing and didn't see you. Unless you are one of the hands picking up a weapon.
I'm in two scenes... my three collective seconds of glory. Just look for an AK... that a suave mofo holding it. Also, my mad stunt-driving skills landed my SUV a small part...
...and speaking of weapons. You can tell which ones in the video are mine... they're the real ones. (Pool table scene excluded - that was the cameraman's dad's house - he had a hunting arsenal.)
wtf was that, like some kind of poorman's Family Matters, real life movie? Not joking here, is that just a trailer or is it actually a trailer for a real movie?
Here it is. I think it was .3 seconds. Where did you meet these people Lomo? Next time I come to San Antonio I wanna be in a movie damn it!
A website called "Filmmaking Frenzy" hosts video challenges for up-and-coming talent teams to participate in. This particular event is called the "Pimp my Television" contest. From their site: The team I was working with had won previous competitions, including last year's "Unnecessary Sequels" category: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cy46dGOHc1U&feature=channel And 2007's Bloodshots event (24-hrs, and an assignment given to each team, best video wins) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXXD0M9G5es&feature=channel And the one that is still the highest ranked video on their site, but they missed the deadline by 20 minutes, 2008's Bloodshots video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5N19AllRjkA&feature=channel
Yes.. That was one... Shit... I love how it looks like some surveillance video... Here's the main three contributions to the whole effort that made the final cut (nevermind the footage of me with my actual AK-47, filmed to coincide with the Urkel-Bot - and didn't make the final cut...) As soon as I arrived, I was handed a leather jacket, a plastic AK, and instructions to "watch over the drugs." Next up, I'm sporting the same fake AK, my badass denim biker vest that weighs three times as much because of the patches - something I picked up years ago, and never had a use for. It found it's calling that night while I was dodging bullets (I think this was almost half a second of airtime.) This next (brief) scene was actually my idea - they wanted to film the guy hanging off the back of the van, and I convinced 'em that the scene simply needed more traffic to appear 'real' in the final cut. So, I got to do some straightforward stunt-driving (nothing like what I do every day and never get credit for, save the cop that pulled me over tonight, mind you) - and my SUV got just about as much airtime as I did. Also... When you're watching the video, and you hear Urkel's shotgun racking, you'll know that he's holding my latest 12 gauge. I hope to find the footage of him practicing his line and 15 minutes later, realizes what he's holding, and says, "waaaait.... damn, is this a real gun?!?" Gotta love that reaction. Hope it was documented.
