To not have your candidate win. Now I know what Dems felt in 2000 and 2004. My first two elections I was able to vote in I had my guy win in both. Eh, guess you cant win em all.

Yes it do suck big time.

Especially given the squandered opportunity in 94, 00, and 04. With special emphisys on the 2000 -2006 era. There is no excuse for conservatives to get screwed like that by their own. Which is precisely why we have what we got in 2006 and 2008.

Come on, don't be like those pussy libs who claimed to move out of the country if Bush was elected. Suck it up, there's always next election.

it just kinda irks me how it was so close, up until the very end. I wish Romney had been running alongside McCain, I'm sure that pair would have had a better shot.

I say give him a chance and see what happens. It's not like he had a tough act to follow.

Holy Crap. That's right in front of one of the Smithsonian buildings (the big old looking one on the left). That is awesome. That looks like one of the fields after lollapalloza. Except for the old chick in the wheel chair.

People are digusting. I can't believe no one has enough pride for their country to keep it clean.

You ever been to D.C before? The place is a shithole for the most part.

I postulated the notion of moving to make a point... I wasn't like Julia Roberts or countless others that assured us they'd be moving with Bush in office.

As far as "next election" goes - just how much effort will it take to undo the damage done by the most liberal president in history, and the partisan support of the Legislative Branch?

That pic Joe posted is absolutely disgusting. And, I'm not surprised.

Yea, I have been there several times, and I have never seen it 'dirty'. I have been on that very spot and it was clean and well kept. Hell the METRO is spotless.

Not to mention the murder capitol of the U.S.A., even with the strictest gun laws in the land.
