AK vs AR

    M16 is much more accurate than the AK the bullet needs to hit its target to kill.

    That kid did not know what he was doing with that AR, I almost want to say it was faked cause it was just stupid as hell.

    Remember S.P.O.R.T.S. in case of a stoppage.

    1.Slap the magazine
    2.Pull the charging handle
    3.Observe for the ejection of a live round or expended cartridge.
    4.Release the charging handle
    5.Tap the forward assist
    6.Squeeze the trigger

    But if you still don't feel secure with your fire power get the M203 one round with a five meter kill radius and a 15 meter casualty radius. (point of impact)

    The only AR I've ever owned that jammed like that was a Colt in 7.62X39. It would invariably jam if running those shellacked steel cases made by wolf. It never missed a beat with brass cases.

    AR15 is the civilian version of the M16 for all extensive purposes to avoid confusion I prefer to simply call both the M16 certainly the same with regards to technique for clearing a stoppage.

    The AK refers to the Russian AK47. ........ Of course your both blonds by choice if not by birth but I'm not buying that you were really that confused. :cool:

    That's what I was thinking bad ammo or maintenance. Four Years in the Marine corps and who knows how many rounds definitely in the thousands. One or two jams.

    This is one thing I do like about the AK... It'll fire the cheapest ammo and not even care. Nice for relieving stress.

    I'm going to replace the front handguards on my Yugo underfolder, but one thing I'm not too fond of are the kits that try to make the AK look like an AR (rails everywhere, funky designs, etc.) I understand people like to tack stuff onto their AKs, but to me, it just looks like the Poor Man's James Bond of assault rifles.

    This one actually isn't so bad, but I'd wait until I got a second AK before going this far...



    I might end up getting some Russian poly or AK-103 grips for mine... I'm still debating.
