I need motivation to do my job. I have stuff that needs to be done before the end of the month and I am just sitting here bored like I have nothing to do and my guts hurt. They were fine until I ate something. Now they hurt. :frown: What do you guys do when you have to do something and you don't want to do it? Do you reward yourself or just suck it up and do it? I need to just do it, but it's not fun. Neither is the internet really, but still.
I have to go out and do some KPAs, there is a very low number of employees here this week so it will give me time to knock out my last 3 before I am off on Tuesday. I hate it when I dont feel like doing anything. I think it is related to my weight. I did however get a new office chair today that is rated 'up to 350lbs' so I feel like a lightweight in it! My hips dont even touch the side!
I am the same way today- this week- really this month. I cant get motivated to do shit. My house is messier then it has ever been. It is so messy and embarrassing- I cant even let a maid come clean it...ugg. and they are cheap as hell right now. I am going to turn on some music and hopefully get some crap done.
My house is as clean as a pin. The yard is pretty good just more leaves blowing in from the neighborhood. The garage needs cleanup really bad. And I need to look into career options. My company just lost a huge contract to one of the biggest consulting companies. I keep putting this off as if the ship is not sinking.
My ship is sinking as well. I have not worked or received a dime in 3 months. I have been living off savings. I could keep do this for 2-2.5 years if I needed to, but then I will have nothing. My plan was to take 50% of the savings+ divorce settlement - and buy a house flat out (have no mortgage) This divorce is going to take a while, I need to find a job in the mean time so I do not shrink my savings. All the vet clinics in this area HATE me, due to taking away their business. And even if I could work for them- they pay crap. AND right now no one is hiring anywhere anyway... I cant go back to bar tending- the hours+kids. I damn sure cant do the pro domina thing. So I am wondering ...what the hell should I do. I have no (reputable) work history for the past 13 years except the vet stuff. So do I get off my high horse and work at a shitty clinic for 10-13$ an hour? Hell I would spend 5$ an hour in childcare. Should I sell my gold stock, should I accept the Arab's shitty offer - and buy a small shitty house? When I know I could get more- if I pay my lawyer more, and go to court- who knows when. Then it is kinda like gambling - who knows if the judge will give me 2x more then the offer- or the same- or less. Seems I have hit a wall and dont know what the fuck to do. and my house is mess. If I dont jump on it now-by next week it will look like something from the show Clean House
While the kids are out of school you should take a nice vacation. Just you and them. Then worry about work and what not when you get back. That will give you time at home to straighten it up, and figure out what you want to do. I am guessing you dont have the schooling to get a vet license, is there something under that where you can do similar work, without a DVM or whatever it is, is that it? Doctor of Veterinary Medicine?
shit it takes longer to be vet - then a human doc.... also I feel I am too old to start that venture- plus would have to move to Athens or another town with a vet school. Even if someone offered to send me for free- I know I could not handle the math crap. Its funny all the crap they teach- that you will never use. I need a motivational speaker - or drill Sargent to come over and kick me in the fat ass - to get me motivated. Make me clean, make me look for a job, scream and yell, slap me around, bring me out of this slummy rut I am in... I normally have tons of energy and make things happen... but this whole month- I am zoned out. My friend even asked if I started drinking... and NO I do not- and never had any problem my whole life . Have not drank since Vegas in July- I guess I just look like I have. I am just so Blaaaaa. I think I am going to give myself a B12 shot- maybe that will perk my ass up. I have been cleaning here and there today- I think I am going to call the cleaning girl... Maybe if my house gets spotless I will feel better. Also I know that if she is on the way- I do a fast speed cleaning before she gets here. Also I would like it if the drill Sargent would be tall and beefy and after motivating me ... bend me over and ... well - you know. Seriously - my right arm is feeling like I am getting carpel tunnel. I wonder if you can date/screw during divorce... or do you have to wait till it is final. Maybe some good old fashioned ding a ling will perk me up.

maybe I should put an ad on craigslist. Its funny I look on there all the time lately - just to see if there is anything interesting. And there never is. When I enter my city as a key word....all I get is straight men looking to suck cock. Then I end up catching guys with multi ads (looking for a woman) then the same guy- same stats, same city, same everything 2 minutes after posting for a woman (looking to suck and swallow) kinda sick and sad. So I respond to his WOMAN ad- with a fake HOT pic, and all into him, get the #, then call him (blocked # of course) and chat for a few minutes... get him all excited... then say OH MY GOD YOU ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR GAY SEX- and hang up --- hahah fun. example ... he is at it again- ugg and he is married. I know blackmail is illegal... but busting into a hotel that is in your name and snapping a pic is not. Also they like to meet in public parking lots as well. And offering the pics to an innocent wife for a price cant be illegal. Paparazzi sell pics all the time. How much would a woman pay for a pic of her high power husband blowing a guy? There is no overhead - except pay the little street fag-whore a few bucks. I wonder if setting up a video camera in a hotel room is illegal? I bet a wife would pay big bucks for a video. maybe start a service I have seen in the past called "Check Mate" they send out decoys to flirt with a spouse and video what happens...and use it in court. I have posted notes to myself for motivation. Mostly self-deprecating like "Get to work, asshole!" I also put a sticker on my clock that says "now". When I look at the clock I see that the time is NOW. Mostly I just drink and avoid work, effort, or confrontation.
