I need to find out if there is any contact information on the previous owner of a T-Mobile cell phone number. I'm currently fostering a 'lost' or 'escaped' dog, I doubt he was abandoned, as he has not only a collar with his rabies #, but an additional collar with his name, a street address, and the (recently acquired by a different person's) telephone number. Oh, and also, one of those non-choking chest harnesses for a leash. Now, I've exhausted every possible avenue I can think of in locating this dog's owner: I've called the number on the personal tag, the lady says she just got this T-mobile number, and that others have been calling her for the past two days asking about the dog. I've looked up the address, and it's a good 30+ miles away from where the dog was picked up. I've tried to find out a telephone number for the owner of the property, or the current resident (haven't gone down to the courthouse to check records, but as much as I could on the Internet) - no luck. I have found three different names associated with that address, and did a search for those names in the zip code where the dog was found - left messages with partial matches, and have received no calls back. The Vet that issued the rabies tag has no current information on the owner, and was contacted back in August to find the owner, but to no avail even back then. I even tried calling T-Mobile, to see if they had any information on the former owner of the telephone number on the tag. I wasn't expecting them to give out that information to me, but as a last-ditch effort, I thought I'd get on the line with an animal lover, and they'd contact the people and give them my contact info. No luck. Tomorrow, fliers will be posted on every entrance and exit to the neighborhood the dog was found in. I'm keeping the dog at home right now: But... should anyone either know a method of, or have someone that could, track the previous owner of a cellular telephone number down, I'd really appreciate it. And Lucky would, too.
Have you tried calling the Humane Societies or placed and ad in the paper? That's the old fashioned way of doing it. Cute dog.
is he neutered? If not be careful who "claims" him. Here in GA they busted a puppy mill. and several of the breeder dogs had micro chips that led them back home. The were lost/stolen dogs.... living in hell. Also there are crazy hoarders that love little faggot dogs. What State are you in? I can get a lic rescue to take him for you.
I say you should just keep the dog forever if you don't find out who the owner is. You are a good dog daddy.
DUDE, IF THEY CAN'T AFFORD TO KEEP THERE CELL PHONE turned on, do you think they are gonna drop the couple of hundred on a RFID chip?
They may have switched companies. I know that I had tags with my # on them and then got rid of my home phone, so now the tags are useless. Actually, I don't have collars on my dogs. I should, but I feel like it would be irritating to wear all of the time, so I only put them on if we go somewhere. If they get out of the fenced yard, I'll be fucked.
I've been looking all over the internet for lost dogs in your area that fit that decription and haven't found any yet. How much does it weigh? 10 pounds or so? It looks like some kind of terrier/chihuahua mix.
I have people call me with a lost dogs with our rabies tags on them ... and MANY times my owner contact number be disconnected --- this happens all the time. Right now I get a call everyday...or everyother day about this one border collie... Someone finds him - calls me- The owners phone # is disconnected- then the dogs gets loose again from the people that find him that say they will keep him ... and someone new calls. Its happened for so long, I memorized the tag number 10255. One day I got 3 calls on his all over the place ass. I wish someone would take his tag off. I got a call at 3am a few nights ago. So people - when you go to the vet, put more then one phone number down... even if it is a friend or parents number. seriously - if he has balls- do not give him to just anyone.
No male dog should be running around with balls. I love Border Collies. I'd keep that dog if I found it.
The dog was 'lost' back then, and ?somehow? found it's way back home. The vet that issued the tag had a record of people calling to find the owner back then, and they had no current contact information. *UPDATE* "Lucky" has been re-united with his family! Sending that picture via my phone eventually landed it upon the eyes of someone's friend, whom recognized the dog as possibly belonging to her neighbor. A few hours later, it was confirmed. "Lucky" was found three years ago in a fucking dumpster by this woman, now whether or not she heard the puppy's whimpering, or was actually diving through the debris is unknown, but she's had the dog ever since. Except that time in August, when he was 'missing' - I was out of town today, but left my gate unlocked in the event that the owner was found, and so the dog was able to be picked up and reunited with his sobbing (albeit negligent) owner in my absence. I also left instruction for the person that went to my house to retrieve, and give the dog back, to insist that the irresponsible owner update his tags, so the next time he turns up missing, someone doesn't have to pull a Sherlock Holmes maneuver out of their ass to find his home. I actually wonder if it would have been better for the dog to be in the hands of a more responsible pet owner - at least the dog and the sobbing "mommy" are both in familiar company, and happy right now... but that dog could have very well been hit by a car when he escaped.
I know dogs get out from time to time, but I dunno. Makes me sad to think it could happen again. Was he fixed?
did you make the owner duck your fucking cock as a reward? I personally would have not let the dog go, until her hump ass came back with updated id tags
