Some were donated a year or so ago, .38's, which happen to fire in my .357, but I've never seen them anywhere for sale. Where can you buy them? Do local shops carry them, or do you have to go through the Internet?
I just thought they'd be fun. Maybe take a buddy to the shooting range and load up his pistol with blanks just to fuck with him. That, and if I'm ever getting ready to shoot someone from the comfort of my couch, I can scare them into moving away from the TV with a blank, then hit them with the real deal when there's nothing behind them but a empty pallet.
I thought blanks were illegal for civillians? Or maybe it's tracer rounds I'm thinking about, and what the fuck is a tracer round anyway?
Its the one that you see. You seen any of the 'night video' from Iraq? The bullets that you see are tracers, the other 5 in between the tracers are the ones you have to worry about (really)......
yeah tracers are only used at night for aiming more accurately, and mostly on heavy cal machine guns.
I'm doubting that they are legal. Tracer bullets can start fires and should only be used under controlled conditions. Because of this they are illegal in many locations.
I don't see why they wouldn't b. those assholes at track meets don't have to get a permit to use a starter pistol
