*not really, but close enough I have just heard about them. Why can't they make eco-friendly vehicles that don't look like something that came out of a happy meal? http://www.theaircar.com/acf/
Admit it. You think it's "cute" and want to drive it. All females want to drive little tiny pastel colored cars. That's why when they're not married they drive the little VW bugs that aren't much different. Then when they get married you see them in the big hulking SUVs with a tow hitch on the bumper.
You have to be the biggest idiot in the history of the world. They drive SUVs because they have kids, something I hope you never have, and it is a lot easier to put a car seat in the backseat of an suv instead of trying to squeeze one into the back of a VW bug. Then once the kids get bigger they need more leg room. Weird huh, they actually get vehicle to help accomodate other members of their family. They put others needs in front of their own 'wants', kind of a new idea for you huh?
Feeling a little guilty about making your wife drive an SUV? Minivans are the kid mobiles. Minivans as opposed to SUVs are females way of marking their males as owned by them including a busload of kids as a way to show other females their males ineligibility. Think of it. A male showing up in a minivan. Hey says the nonmarried female what's with the minivan? The same is true in reverse. Males marking their females by making them drive big SUVs with trailer hitches and gun racks showing they are obviously married. The exceptions are when the girl can't pick out her own car and has to drive whatever daddy gave her which sometimes includes a big SUV as father/mother think girl is lousy driver and that said girl would be safer in a tank.
I hate pastel anything and I hate dinky looking cars like the VW bug. As far as cars go these days, I like what Nissan is putting out. I think the Maxima is a nice looking car.
My wife has an Accord. We did have an SUV, it wasnt to 'mark my territory' it was because it was earier to put a pack and play in the back of it, not in the trunk of a car. She wanted the SUV, not the mini-van, because mini-vans are too 'mommyish' for her. She wanted something that looked good and was functional. I hope these ideas you are posting is you just fkcuing around, that or you are possesed by the spirit of Smurf.
Maybe 4.00 a gallon is a bit ridiculous when you get 12mpg. (the same reason I drive my integra to work and leave my F-250 sitting at home) I guess that means I am available too......
If I didnt have my big-ass camper I wouldnt have the F-250. But I have to have it to pull the big ass camper. Oh well I will just camp in my yard....(when we bought the camper it was cheaper to take it somewhere and camp i.e. Myrtle Beach, than it was to go there and get a hotel room) Plus if you camp at Pirate Land it's pretty much all inclusive. So you could stay on the campsite the whole time if you wanted to (not really that fun, but they have all the pools and lazy river, putt-putt, a pizzeria, and an arcade all right there so its not too bad.
If you are American, you do not have the right to complain about gas prices. Currently in London U.K petrol prices = $2.33 u.s a litre, or $10.57 a gallon. I have no sympathy for you. Cheers! Checkers
Man, you are so smug. So how far can you go on a litre? Dont most brits ride the 'tubes' anyways? We like to complain because we have been spoiled for so long. in 87 it was .48C a gallon for regular unleaded.
I remember when it was 88 cents/gallon in 1998. Oh, I found a new car I like. And it's good on gas as well. I saw one today and thought they were cool. The new Lancer. The front looks like a shark nose. I think it's the best looking in the compact car class.
Get a Winnie. I have wanted one of those for years. I always wanted to say "A winnebago we go" and mean it.
My family took a trip in a winnebago and also a camper. Camper was just as good in my opinion and probably didn't use any where near the gas. The chemical toilets in those mobile homes are disgusting if I remember right. I was pretty small. I would have to ask my father to get the real deal comparison. I liked the open air pop up fold out bug screen of the pop up camper.
For a Class C motorhome (With the Van front and the bunk over top) the least expensive quality model was 75k. For my 32ft Travel Trailer w/2 slides 1 slide out has the kids 'room' with bunk beds & Flat TV (for when it rains), 1 slide is the entire kitchen/living room with surround sound QS master 'suite' for 25k. I bought my 250 for 14k so for 39k I got more room (and I dont need a 'tow vehicle'). I do have an Integra I drive to work (one of my many Hondas that I have gone through) for mileage. The toilets are what they are. Most campsites have their own dumps, and some have 'full hookups (where you can dump right at the site). Then you get the 'chemical' to put in it to keep the 'smell' down. Which you can get blueberry or bubble gum scented (among others). I like some of the 'pop-ups' they have some nice ones now, but I prefer the full camper because of protection during rough weather. Storms will kick up real quick, and with all the pine trees limbs will break off and fall all the time. Not that an aluminum camper offers that much protection but its better than a vinyl roof.
I know the smell that you are talking about. It's an almost sweet chemically stink. We had a boat that had a bathroom that stunk like that and my parents have always kept a port-a-potty under the cuddy cabin of the other boats and that smell just turns my stomach because it was also coupled with enclosed space and heat. Needless to say, my fave boat we had growing up was the one with the open bow. I would have rather peed in the river anyway. We had a few campers when I was growing up that we stayed in. But as an adult, I always wanted a Winnie.
