So far today I have taken the kids to school, gone to the post office, gone to the bank, ordered work supplies, and dosed the cat with bubble-gum flavored antibiotics. WHY are cat antibiotics bubble-gum flavored? Is that some sort of perverted joke?

Boring updates as my boring day continues. What are you guys up to today?

    hmmm.

I got up, did the three 'S's minus the shaving, got dressed, got the kids ready for school, stopped at the 'Circle K' for coffee and a pop-tart. Then I replaced a transfer roller in a crappy Dell printer (Lexmark). Setup software for an 'engineer' and showed another how to connect to a network printer(yep, really). Installed a toner and unjammed a crappy hp1300 printer, Setup VMServer on my new PE2950 (Dual Quad Core x64) and setup the new MD1000 mass disk array box from Dell. Went to Bojangles for lunch and got the supremes combo with spicey fries and a diet pepsi. Now I am here, about to go back to work.

Woke up, felt shitty, ate, fed the dogs, took a shit, took a bath, got dressed, brushed my teeth, half-assed my makeup, barely brushed my hair and went to work. I got done with almost everything by 9:30A, took a 2 1/2 hour break, went to lunch for an hour and I'm on break again. I got about 10 minutes of work left and about 2 1/2 hours to do it. I think my computer might be on fire, so I might have to put that out...

Slept as long as possible, ate nothing, drank half a gallon of tea, smoked quite some cigarettes, did some deskwork on the computer. Now emotionally preparing for nightlife. Day as usual.

Do you call your kids C1 and C2 for short?

No, I call them "Oops" and "Uh-oh" for short. They're full names are "I thought Mommy was on the pill" and "I'll pull out"

    Update:

I read a few forums, let the dogs in, made an ad, realized I didn't have the font I need, ate a hard-boiled egg and had another cup of tea, asked my husband if he had some fonts, installed fonts, uploaded the ad, and then picked up the youngest kid from pre-school. On the way to picking up the kid I saw some hollyhocks in a color I don't have. Hopefully I'll remember to go back and get some seeds later. Probably not though, and then I'll see them next year and think "oh shit I wanted some of those". Now I'm wasting more time and debating whether to do my math homework. Is there anything in the fridge I want to eat? I doubt it. Fuck.

At this rate I'll have to reduce my food intake to about that of a gerbil to stay skinny. Aging sucks.

Aging doesn't suck as long as you keep your brain working and listen to your body.
    I don't give a shit about wrinkles.

Well my body says that everything in the fridge is gross. For the other part, I guess I really should go do my homework. Sigh.

The day has gone to far for detail but here goes.

Rolled out of bed brushed teeth took the dogs out

Had a glass of Cranberry/Pomegranate juice with the wife on the back patio by the pool and a Jimmy Dean sausage, egg -n- cheese breakfast sandwich.

Came in locked the dogs out of the house except for hte kitchen and the backyard.
Talked to some Dr.s, and various outer clinical staff for hospitals in Ohio, Arkansas, and Colorado.

Went to lunch had a sanwich and some cottage cheese and peaches. Swam ten laps in the pool.

I'm sitting hear on a wet towel at my desk back at work again. Don't ask what I'm wearing. Let's just say I'm comfortable.

Fat people get less wrinkles anyway because their skin is stretched. This is one plus to gaining weight as you get older. I have the remainder of a pumpkin pie that I get to look forward to eating later. I think I will polish off the rest of the whipped topping as well on some french vanilla hot cocoa. I've been eating chips and stuffing my face all week and have lost three pounds. I'll probably be dead by next week.

Anyway, I am all done with my work. I signed up for a new email account and started working on a resume for a government job.

    UPDATE

Got the new 1U rackmount KVM for the server room, was going to set it up, however I had dell tech #1 on site to repair crapped out SX280 MoBo. Answered phone and had to help EU set up signature in Lotus Notes(weee). Drank Vanilla Coke Zero 20 oz. Reviewed budget. Informed I have to wait till Nov/Dec to spend remaining budget on new server (Doom/Quake/Command and Conquer) server that is.

Answered phone talked to another lost engineer.

Got call from second dell tech to repair second bad SX280 (I dont know why they couldnt send both mobos to the same tech). Met him at gate and had him replace.

    Made fun of co-worker.

Don't tell me the 280's have the same issue as the 270's notice the caps on the new boards are stamped with a K instead of an X ?

    Idiots I swear.
