Just trying to help my 13 son do his maths homework and we're trying to work out the gradient of straight line graphs without drawing the graphs.I think my head might explode.

Not trying to be a dick.. I'm really not. But instead of bitching to us on the Internet use it!

The Internet is the greatest source of knowledge man has ever had. I mean do you really think that the only thing I do is post here? I'm reading about things that I would never get a chance to learn ever if there wasn't an Internet.

Everything is a simple search away the answer to almost anything you can imagine is out there.

    Even yours...

Teach him something he can use in life.

Is there a smart if homely chick taking the class with him? A famale student aid?

Teach him how to charm her into giving him the answers. Thats a skill he will always use.

He will nev.... well it is better to put it this way; how many times have you or your husband used the talent tought to you in school to write out a formula for the gradient of straight line graphs?

    Nuf said.

It's all pointless, but you have to play the game to win your diploma. I hated math. Still do. English was okay, but I couldn't stand math.
