Why do you feel the need to give medical advice. DT's can be fatal of severe. DT occurs in 5-10% of alcohol-dependent people and carries up to 5% mortality with treatment and up to 35% mortality without treatment. Not only is it dangerous but if you do that in a professional capacity you are just opening yourself up for a huge lawsuit that could wipe you out financially.
Why do you feel the need to give your googled advice to people that can easily look up statistics themselves? As far as the lawsuit 'advice' - bear in mind that this is a public forum, and that all members are not responsible for any repercussions from people's (physical) responses to anything that has been posted here.
