You lost me on Peri Peri sauce. Que es eso?

 

They throw a ham hock(SP?) in it, the way my grampa used to cook em' up. Bacon is for when you are in a hurry.....hell we put ham, or bacon, in green beans when you cook them. My wife like to use beef or chicken stock too. (No wonder I am so FAT!) I do drink the diet soda though.... ???

 

The way to cook green beans is to get the beef tallow they make from bone marrow that comes in the jar not the boulion cubes and then add it to some cans of stewed tomatoes that have been boiled down to reduce the amount of water. It gives the green beans a beef flavor like McDonalds does with their fries.

That Bird's Eye can rate 175,000 Scoville Heat Units. That puts it up there between Habanero Chile and Molten Lava. I don't think I could handle that heat once (let alone twice.)

 

I'm not sure how you can enjoy eating something that hot. It cant have any real flavor left to it. Maybe taking a hot coal out of a fireplace and putting it in your mouth would be similar?

yes, I've tried the bird eye chilli itself, I nibbled a tiny piece off the tip and that almost put me in a coma, I don't feel like doing it again.

The actual sauce isnt just straight up blended chillies though, it uses a little to add the kick to its other ingredients, mainly lemon juice and vinegar. The sauce has less heat than tobasco , if you can handle that you should be ok.

It seems I actually tried the hottest one of their range, they have mild too.

I sometimes wish for the variety of fast food you yanks get,i mean we get maccys,ketucky,burger king,but i wanna try jack n a box,wendys,dunkin donuts,taco bell,white castle etc,i wanna be obses instantly,not over a few years.
