The house I have now has plaster, its not too bad. Especially if you pull it out and put up sheetrock....

in some areas where we took walls down, we went back and put a piece of 1/4" trim on the studs, then the 3/4" sheetrock and it was even with the plaster. Smoothed it all in and you cant tell where the plaster is and where the sheetrock is. Get the home inspected prior to bidding on it, get your own guy too. We have a guy, well since my wife is an agent we have a guy, that only charges us 100.00 to inspect homes for us, since he does all the ones my wife lists, and he does a great job. If you dont know anyone, call around, tell them you have several houses you are considering and you want to know if they give a discount for multiple inspections, or if you have an agent, have them ask their 'guy' since most of them have someone they always use.

500,000 US wouldn't buy you anything in my neighbourhood, I wish I was joking. I doubt it would get you much (a little more by british standards) up where pimp is as well.

Recently I was dating someone with potential and was looking set up in Africa, but that has since shit the bed, once I finish my post grad work I will be selling my place in kensington and moving to the south of france.

London is expensive, but when I decided to come back home, I was in the fourtunate posistion to be able to afford to purchase a leasehold in Kensington. I love living in Kensington, but want a little less hustle and bustle as I get older.

But did you quantify exactly how much potential with a series of careful, mathematical equations before you embarked on your biological coupling project, or did you just rely on the results of the multiple choice questionaire provided by the dating agency you selected her from? Because that might be the problem.

She shit in the bed, Nursey! What more need you know? Intercontinental relations are one thing. Incontinent relations are alltogether another subject.

    Nursey,

Sadly I relied on the results of the provided multiple choice questionaire, up untill this point the agencies track record has been stellar to say the least, I have since had to find a suitable replacement. Currently I am back to prowling the pubs of Ol' London Town in search of wine, women and song.

If you have a mathematical equation for determing what a woman wants, and deciphering her volitile emotions, I would be more than happy to put it into play.

    Cheers!

yeah the only 2 we liked were the pool, and the big house. The only problem with the pool house is it's out in the middle of no where and about a 50 mile drive to our jobs.

The big house is in some what of a trash hood.

50 miles is no good and you don't want to live in a bad neighborhood.

I bet your real estate agent is pissed. Seeing as their commision will surely be missed.

this one is about 500000 USD.. it's about 7 miles from me.. but the price may be influenced by the fact the town is about 800+ years old and has a castle in it

Those places were nice, but pricey. I would never by a townhouse. I'm not having a 30 year mortgage and not owning the whole wall.

Los Angeles, CA is terribly expensive.

    289,900 USD

2 BED, 1 BATH, HOME, GOOD SIZE BACKYARD. LAUNDRY AREA OFF KITCHEN. NEEDS LOTS OF TLC. LOTS OF POTENTIAL.

    500,000 USD

    4 Bed, 2 Bath
    1,366 Sq. Ft.
