It's more difficult because we might care what Henry Rollins thinks because he's a legend. These other guys are legend's offspring. Based on that precarious claim to fame, I'd go with the Stewart kid. He probably has some wicked stories.

 

Randy Spelling would have some interesting stories to tell I'm sure also but I just think there has got to be some better choices.

 

Wellp, these are the only ones we have right now. Is it even worth putting it together? It doesn't seem like too many people care anything at all about asking them anything.

This is how things like this come about. I get emails all the time from publicists who's jobs are to promote some new show or CD or whatever that is coming out. They offer little trinkets to give away as prizes and in giving out the free stuff, you automatically promote whatever it is.

We got a bunch of Carlos Mencia stuff, then we got a bunch of Dane Cook garbage and then we got to ask Henry Rollins a few things, which I think it actually pretty cool.

For this new show called Sons of Hollywood that is going to air on A&E, they wanted us to give out three prize-packs which contained, get this, a 'branded t-shirt' and a pack of mints.

Mints.

What the fuck?

So, I thought it would be better to just ask these guys some stuff. I know the first thing I was going to ask was if they knew that the best they could come up with to bribe people to promote their show was a pack of stinking mints and a t-shirt.

So the question is, is this even worth the time? It doesn't sound like anyone really knows who these guys are. More things will come up. Maybe Hollywood rich kids aren't a good fit here.

 

It could be fun, but I think no one will have any real questions to ask (possibly rod stewart's son) but, It would be funny if someone works them up with a viscous question. Rollins was cool, but these are just rich kids, who have a privileged life, for nothing. Like your question, the mints one is a good one. Other ones would be "Have you ever done a real days work?" etc.

I wouldn't waste your time JEFE. No one knows these douchebags. And what you were getting sounds like what they give cable companies' employees. I got Sex In The City mints and a Fat Actress T-shirt from my ex who worked for the local cable co. My fave stuff I got was the boxed second season of Six Feet Under, a Six Feet Under green hearse keychain and a Six Feet Under coffin that I kept drug paraphernalia in.

I like the concept, but I'm with Dwaine. I think all we could muster for questions would be sarcasm.

 

I posted the same thing for 1st post, but Jefe or whoever removed it, shame really because I would have liked someone to have proved me wrong. Perhaps he was embarresed that somebody was actually brutally honest and not a leg-humping 'yes' man, sorry dude ???

 

Carlos Mencia would be interesting actually. Anyone see the youtube with him getting hammered on stage by two other comedians about the ongoing controversy of him stealing jokes? It would give him a change to defend his position.

I watched "Wild Hogs" last night at the movies. The theme of the movie epitomized what I see as always the case with the elite and Hollywood types. They can seem to have everything except legitimacy. In the end they are simply quintessential poser. ..... Hey there is something to ask the Hollywood brat types.

 

I linked to this thread from the main page and deleted that post because all it said was, "what makes you think any of us give a shit?", or something to that effect. I was hoping for some constructive responses and thought that, if someone did want to post a reply, they would see that and then not.

I thought your reply meant, "what makes you think any of us care what you're doing on the main site; leave us alone". It makes more sense to me now, but I still think it was a good idea to delete it, as it was the first reply.

 

I agree with you completely about Carlos Mencia. It would be great to be able to go back and do that again but I don't think we will ever get the chance. Would be nice though.

And yeah, I think that in this case, all that would end up happening is that people would totally bash them and we'd make a few more enemies.

I'd love to see Nursey and either three of them have a nice chat.
