Is it wrong to enjoy this more than Gears of War? I mean, it’s fun and it’s not even violent (even though it IS based on a dumb show). It helped me get better at singing, too…which I suppose makes this game better than the violent ones, because with shooters youre just wasting time but with a game like this you’re improving a slightly more valuable skill. Do the shooters do anything like that for us? http://ps2.ign.com/articles/753/753015p1.html (just incase you’re wondering what I’m talking about.)
Intriguing I actually was reading that thinking this has got to be a hoax. Not into games much so I could easily be fooled. You make a good point about a game to be more productive. I can just imagine some classic extreme introvert with some psychotic personality disorder getting pushed over the edge playing FPS games. Where had he or she been playing something like this it could potentially help bring him or her out of that shell they are stuck under. Something for Barry to comment on would be interesting to see what he had to say. In the mean time what I have a problem figuring out is how the scoring works. I mean I cannot believe that voice capturing and processing has got to any level that would reliably measure vocal talent except possibly timing and getting the words right. Maybe tone but maybe I’m behind the times. I just had to reactivate a certificate of authenticity over the phone with Microsoft and it was a 40 digit number at first I was saying thye numbers like I was talking to an elderly person with a hearing aid rather slow and distinct. At the end I was just spitting it out rather fast just to see if the system would fail….. it did not.
