Legion Field may dead, but the War goes on. It's Iron Bowl Week. Alabama vs Auburn in Tuscaloosa. If you ain't from here, you can't possibly understand the insanity. May the Tide be with you.
There'd be more of us if not for the having to know how to read and write obstacle. Haters. At least Auburn is undeafeated in T'town. Maybe we can keep the streak alive. We just need Alabama to have a "Miss. State" performance, while we dial in the second half against Florida channel and we're in.
You know I too am from the south and the above post made no sense to me.....especially from the professor..... GO DAWGS!!!
Did I mention that my uncle coached and played at Alabama, and has 7 National Championship rings to show for it? He told me today that Spurrier is flying in this evening to talk about taking the reins at Alabama. I would keep that other hand in my pocket for now....
Yea, after getting beat by Auburn, I could see shula being gone by the end of the year. Of course spurrier is just wanting to get out of Carolina, you know since they are cursed and all.....
Hummm. Maybe now do you believe me? Wikipedia is already stating that Spurrier has accepted the job. I wonder how they knew? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Spurrier#.22Alabama_Crimson_Tide.22
He can go 8-4 in SC and be the man. 10-2 and they'll name the field after him. He may want to stay put. But, stranger things have happened.
Stranger things= a contract offer of 10 years with a guaranteed $30 Million minimum. SC can't even think of touching that. I would rather have someone else anyway. Like Petrino. He hates Tuberfield just as much as I do.
I saw last night during MNF that shula got the hook. Spurrier will never win a championship at SC. His best chance would to be in that weaker western conference of the SEC. The east is just too good. Even though I am rooting for Arkansas to beat Floriduh.
