New thread for Lomo Has anyone done a cross-platform analysis of Madden 2007? I have the 360 version. Looks good but is missing many of the old Madden signature features. I looked at the Official Guide and the mini-games therein were more like what I remember from last year's PS2 version than what is on the 360. It's different, but is it better? With all this next-gen hardware and now two Madden titles under it's belt, why is it that the 360 version can't deliver the old goods in addition to the new and improved? Don't get me started on NCAA 2007. I was enamored for a whole day then, "What, no Superstar?" Has anyone the answer? Does MS intend to issue new features for Madden later for more MS points? Should I have held out for the PS3?
It's not so much that I feel cheated but with this $400 end-all, be-all gaming system, I thought they could take the XBOX version and add to it. Like the old stuff PLUS more. It's just different (and not necessarily better.) Don't get me wrong, I like it, but I'm at an age where eye-candy alone won't sustain my interests for prolonged periods.
