Just curious how many Fulglies actually get dressed and leave the house for an organized religious event. Any religious event by the way. Pagan, New Age, Goat Riding, whatever, I don't care. ANY organized religious event.
Yup. I'm the "occasional". I used to go three times a week. Down to about 2 times a month. God still tolerates me though.
Me, too. I've found that organized religion is a real let-down: despise it, really. I prefer to worship my God (Jesus), or, more specifically, what I believe Him to be--in private, or with a few select friends.
 That was funny. I do not have a regular church that I attend, but once in a while, perhaps once a year, I will attend churches of different denominations just for the experience. This last time was about 3 months ago, I attended an Evangelical church. Suffices to say, it was an experience I don't care to repeat. I'm not quite convinced being slapped on the forehead by an ex-hooker who's found Jesus is an enlightening way to be built into a champion for God's kingdom. Their words, not mine. Not knocking the evangelicals, just not feeling the power enough to lay out in the floor and flop around. Sorry.
Better get your wife and kids to vote! There's still one daughter we haven't met, correct? And I think I speak for us all when I say it's past time we met your parents.
Thanks for asking about the family Bung. My oldest daughter is independent now. She finished school, lives on her own, has a real job, and more or less supports herself. My other daughter, who none of you will ever meet, is still in high school. She has earned five speeding tickets in 16 months, two of them for speeds in excess of 85 mph. Other than her problem with the law, she is a great kid. In order to keep her that way I am making sure that she stays out of here. Bugs is busy decorating a new house and guzzling Nyquil. She will never grace the forums again. As a matter of fact, she pretty much hates computers in general. My parents are another story. Dad is gone on to the big blue Water in the sky. He would have fit in well here. He was an absolute societal misfit. He was incredibly intelligent, but had the hardest time being normal. I think I'll post a tribute to him later. Mom is an eccentric. She looks great on the surface, but underneath she is the most neurotic and anxious person I know. She would take everything on this forum very seriously, and would have to be sedated after the first few minutes. The vote was just for curiosity. Now that I see a strong number of NEVERS, I am blaming my declining interest in getting dressed on the weekends to my association with all of you. See, it's not my fault.
Yeah, but you have to make up for all those years you didn't go, and you have little kids that need Sunday School. I still have a 30 year average of 2.7 times a week. Let's see you top that. Oh, and I know someone who wants to buy your old refrigerator if you want to sell it.
It's not a competition, Barry. You don't owe me any explanations. And I'll probably sell your old black fridge. My stainless is larger and I've had it only less than a year.
It is a competion! Haven't you heard that only 144,000 are gonna make it? Oh wait. I think that got voted out at the last counsel. As far as the fridge, in the sale of the house it was conveied at no charge. So, can I have it back for the same price? Dang. I thought not. Anyway, I know some people who need it bad and would jump all over my old refrigerator and would pay good money for it. Call me if you want to sell.
