I've just rediscovered this amazing short film. No special effects, no cheating the film speed, no closed-off streets. Just an insane drive through the streets of Paris. Probably the best 9 minutes you'll spend on the internet today.
J'aimerais faire quel que chose comme ça. Mais, je suis trop peur de ma mortalité et cela des autres.
Pretty good wonder how fast he was going and how much were sound effects as well as where all the traffic was. There are a few going around where this guy takes a full race shifter class go-cart and drives around the city here in the states it’s pretty good also wish I could find it I'd send you the link.
Here's what the Sydney Morning Herald site says about it. I think it answers all of your questions. The full link to the article is here.
i've seen that, but all he really does is go on the highway. theres also the ghost rider ones where the guy has outrun the cops several times.
I found a few of them and PM'd them to Chester they were pretty impressive though at night and he drives around a little in city streets. Whats cool is a Go-Cart doing (supposedly) triple digits passing cars and such. It would be a trip driving down the freeway at 70 or 85 and a go-cart comes zipping by.
There's a clip 'somewhere' of a guy riding a Honda Fireblade around the peripherique* of Paris. Now that was scary... *The orbital motorway, for our less-learned brethren.
Ghost Rider just watched one where he makes like he is a motorcycle cop wish the speedo was in MPH so I could get a better idea of how fast he was going for the situation. Yes I can do simple math to figure it out but its not the same in real time. Suffice to say the guy is a certifiable nut case. If the videos really are of one guy and not a group of motorcycles that video their activities. My hats off to the proverbial ghost rider I like his style I mean hell life is simply to short you got to get out sometimes and enjoy it.
That was pretty neat. I dont know if you've seen any of the gumball rally dvds, but there is this one part where a guy goes through a rest area at about 180 to get ahead of some other cars. One guy had a ticket for doing 208 in a 70 zone. After he was bailed out. It is a pretty neat watch. Especially the guy on the Ducati. They mess some cars up. I wonder if he got some head for his driving skills?
