You saying I am supposed to cry everytime someone has some medical misfortune (everyday) even though I did everything I could to help and spend my entire life in a permanently depressed mood? Having to come a forum and brag about how flippantly you helped someone, and how nonchalantly you aministered aid to someone far below your level of dignity and worth.....i could go on and on.

Ask the others on this forum Dan. You don't have a clue about humility and service to others. Until you learn it, you will never be worth two cents as a medical professional. You will simply join the ranks of others in your profession who thing that they are Gods.

No you don't have a clue. Doctors are people like anyone else. In fact they are some of the most idealistic of the idealistic to begin with. Then day in and day out medical emergencies and death make them learn to except death and calamnity as part of life. They don't sit and worship it and throw ashes on themselves like some freakin cult. I did all I could and now I am talking about it blowing off a little steam. You would make a terrible doctor and wouldn't last 6 months as a surgeon.
And believe it or not surgeons are important and they sacrifice a huge chunk of their lives, marriages, kids growing up, getting up at 4am and leaving a 7 at night to get the level of knowledge they need to practice. I spent from 4 am til 7 tonight helping heal people. What did you do?

I had a fairly active day myself Dan, although I don't have superhuman powers like you.

The difference in our day is that I didn't need to come on the internet and brag about it.


Venting, talking about your day, talking about interesting cases - all of that is well and good. The part that curls my socks is hearing the self agrandizing way that you insert yourself as the supercool hero.
