I forgot to mention that it was a beautiful day this last Aug 8th. Even though I failed to mention it, it was indeed a beautiful day.

 

Anniversary? Birthday? Circumcision?

August 8th is a beautiful day, Jerry Garcia died on August 8th. Either Jeff or I usually post on that day to celebrate. We both forgot this year.

I'm not trying to celebrate the death of Jerry Garcia, although I don't like the Grateful Dead and I don't think there's anything worse than a hippie.

Years and years ago I just sortof picked August 8th as some kind of a benchmark. I always look back on what happened over the past year and compare it. I picked it because of that song, but it didn't have a thing to do with Jerry Garcia.

I don't know why but strange stuff has happened on August 8th a bunch of times.

 

Probably because you're so paranoid about that day that you make it happen.
