    Stalker Assistant Thread.

I was on call for surgery. Saw a Laprascopic ventral hernia repair using a mesh and a gun that shoots "tacks". Saw a revascularization using dacron grafts as artificial blood vessels of the terminal aorta a couple of days ago where it splits into the external and internal iliac arteries supplying the lower extremities and pelvic region with blood respectively. The surgery went pretty long and the distal abdominal aorta was clamped off for what I consider to be probably too long. The woman is now having swelling in her lower abdomen and weakness in her extremities. Any time the blood is cut off from skeletal muscle for more than 2 hours you start to have tissue death. Loss of function can come before that but generally returns within 2-3 weeks.

About 1000 people had that operation this week. Without a name there is no violation.

I attended a conference on treating Cybersex addictions. They used you as a case study. I didn't tell them that I knew you. I was too ashamed.

So people can actually get addicted to talking to other people about sex, online?

Dacron grafts, please explain. Is it a substance that has a reduced risk of secondary infection due to attack by the recipients own antibodies?

Actually, I think they get addicted to masturbating too.

I have a lot of clients who are absolutely addicted. They can't stop, they lose jobs over it, they run up big credit bills, and they destroy relationships.

    Yep. Addiction.

Barry, what functional definition do you use to define addiction?

"Strong emotional and /or psychological dependence on a substance or activity that has progressed beyond voluntary control."

    or

"Addiction is an uncontrollable compulsion to repeat a behavior regardless of its consequences."

    or

A condition characterized by excessive preoccupation with sex that creates a compulsive search for a sexual stimulation, the compulsion to have sex no matter the cost or risk, and a feeling of utter hopelessness and an inability to control one's own compulsions.

    Take your choice.

Just wondering. Sometimes the term is hard to pin down, but it's like pornography. I can't tell you what it is, but I know it when I see it.

Gall stones. The pancreatic duct and the common bile duct come to gether at the ampulla of vater. The gall stone traves down the cystic duct from the gall bladder and goes into the common bile duct which passes thrhough the head of the pancreas which is wrapped around the duodenum as well as the superior mesenteric artery which supplies the right 2/3 of the colon. The common bile duct just as it exits the pancreas joins with the common bile duct from the gall bladder and enters the 2nd (descending) part of the duodenum at the "ampulla of vader. The stone gets caught after the two ducts murge and the digestive pancreatic juices back up into the pancreas and begin digesting it as well as other tissue withing the peritoneal cavity.

What the hell does that have to do with anything Dan? That's like explaining why you need an oil change to a person who doesn't know how to drive.

Ah keep up the good work. See you in 15-20 years before you make the long slow goodbye.
