I used to have Ozzy's "Tribute to Randy Rhodes" I think it was probably on cassette. I have looked for it on cd from time to time with no success but I think that was by far the best album they put out. And I'm a big fan of Randy Rhodes.

I sure would like to find that cd. :(

I just picked up All That Remains newest album "This Darkened Heart". It's a bit heavy for most people's taste, but if you're into metal it's not bad at all. Not a classic, but good.

Stevie Ray now your talking. I was a huge fan before he died. If you like that kind of sound I do not know what its like now but back in the later part of the eighties it was all over the bar scene in Houston. Steve Ray and also his brother Jimmy have a pretty big following.

    Damn Dwaine! Your brutal.

Yes, I do enjoy listening to Stevie Ray. One of the top ten blues influenced guitarists. Quite talented and well ahead of his time.

Yeah I may have been wrong on that time frame. The last time I hit the bar scene in Houston was late Eighties but maybe early 90’s cause I remember some of the details. I was on leave from the Marines and trying to lookup and hookup with all my rowdy friends. Wreaked my motor cycle while going on a ride to meet some collage chicks my friend Ron was going to introduce me to. Only reason was because this guy who was tripping on X pulled right in front of me and stopped like a deer in the headlights causing me to have to jump the curb and barely miss a brick apartment sign. But close enough to knock my friend Ron off cause his knee slammed into it. I get this bag of X pills out of the deal and we go to the Art fest on Montrose blvd. the next day tripping our asses off. To put a year on it Black crows has just come out with their first real popular album. “Jealous Again?” It became a bar hopping blur from their but most every bar we went to that had a live band was playing southern juke joint type blues….. Those were the days.

I just got my copy of "The 6 Concertos" by Paganinni in the mail today, a 3 disc set, and have listened to about half of it. Excellent stuff. Thanks for the suggestion, Chester.

If you (or anyone else) needs it, LMK. :)
