Yes, they cannot have any depictions of their god. And if you think about it, christians have roughly the same rule, no worshipping false idols (the golden calf) which would extend to statues of Jesus, but 'Merican's love them some Jesus so we choose to forget about that part of it. I mean how the hell is anyone supposed to worship Jesus if there isnt a 20 foot statue of him nailed to a tree everywhere you look?

i'm not excusing any form of fanatical behavior but you can understand why people would be offended.... especially with all of the shit-disturbing clerics who want nothing more than to recruit more soldiers into their jihad, but regardless of the legalities western nations impose themselves in the governing of sovereign nations on a daily basis so i don't see why the arabs being pissed about this but having little power to act on it is a problem.... everyone's always so quick to scream freedom of speech untill a kid in a classroom refuses to stand for the national anthem or a rapper gives detailed instructions on how to cook crack
