High Holy Day in Dixie

The Iron Bowl kicks off in about two hours.

I swear it is like a sacred event in Alabama. Auburn is the top Mechanical and Agricultural school in the state, and Alabama is a Doctor/Lawyer school. It makes for a nice blue collar/white collar class war. Somewhere in Alabama someone will die arguing over the outcome. No kidding.

Just though that I would expand the cultural awareness of everyone.

Sorry, I can't sympathize. My Team is #2 currently and Rose Bowl bound. The game however is on a weds. and I have to work, but that is what Personal days are for. MY wife can't understand it though, after all,"It is just a football game." :roll: :roll:

 

To add insult to injury, our local high school team got killed in the State palyoffs. I drove 600 miles to see them play, and they were massacred.

A crew from MTV has been following the other team all year, so our guys can be humiliated twice when it airs.

I hate football. My only hope is for Texas to beat USC. I hate them too.
