their owners on the discovery channel? What's funny is I used to own a 11 foot burmese python when I was 9th grade. When I bought him he was only about 8 inches and he just kept growing. Come to find out those things kill about 200 people a year in the US. I didn't know about it and used to let the neighbors little kids who were less than three feet borrow the 11 foot python as they would always come knocking on my door asking to see it after seeing it crawling around in the window seal of one of my parents bathrooms where it lived on a "hot rock" because it got to big for it's cage. A show on the discovery channel was recently going through alot of the cases where big constrictor's tried to kill their owners or their owners kids. One of the stories was about a big python crawling into the bed of an 8 year old and constricting the kid as well as an anaconda that tried to kill it's owner after years of being docile. I think the snake that tried to kill the kid was one of their neighbor's "pets". The little kids sister woke up for some reason even though when a big snake is constricting the victim can't make much of a sound. The father cut the snakes head off to make it turn lose. They performed CPR on the kid and brought him back but their dog was eaten by the snake.
