Dan, You now what saddens me, I work in the mental health and addiction field, I am educated, and a reasonably intelligent person, Most of my real insight and understanding into my own profession is when I was actually working in the field, I can't to be honest even remember anything useful that I use today in my practice from the text books. I never once choose my field for the monetary reward, I honestly want to help people and get a great reward from helping someone turn their life around and become successful on their own terms and for some of them, it is a simple as being able to do their own grocery shopping. Most of the health care professionals that work I with on a daily basis (doctors, nurses, shrinks :wink: ) are not in it for the monetary gain, and I have never heard a debate about who makes more etc etc in the lounge, these are people that have a desire to help, and work where they can do the best job, majority of people in this line of work have one thing in common, compassion first, the rest is all secondary and background noise. To think that someone who is trying to obtain the credentials required to enter this prestigious group of people, is brashly screaming out about the high paycheck, and how this puts him above everyone else because he is "on his way" just shows that you lack the basics to even understand what all people who will becoming to you for need, compassion and help.
