I think about wild dogs v puppy mill force breed dogs... and truly agree and understand where you are coming from. however ... what are we to do. Find a mate, have shitloads of genetic testing done.. before fucking? I did not with Evan's dad.. however we did do the full work up on genetic testing after... nothing showed up. (But I will agree that too many people are out there breeding). People fuck, people get knocked up. That's life. The odds are stacked against you from the moment of conception. It really doesn't matter how healthy one is, you can still end up with a sick kid. It's the luck of the draw. I believe other factors play a part in illness, not just genetics. Why are we the most struck down with illness/disease/mutation? Because we have changed the environment, hell literally the landscape of the earth and not to our advantage. The air quality is bad from manufacturing oh, say things like plastic bottles which end up in landfills and take a thousand years or more to degrade and in doing so contaminate our soil and water. There isn't a day that goes by that you don't consume some sort of manmade preservative (unless you are fasting). We have done this to ourselves. I think the environment we have created alters genetics, so therefore, we are ALL lousy candidates for reproduction. We breathe, eat, drink and harvest our food in contamination. Everyone's gene pool is tainted. The best thing humans can do for the earth is die. Then thousands and thousands of years from now the earth would return to the way it was. Healthcare isn't just about illness. It's about injury. That is something that is unavoidable. So let's say we have a young guy who is drunk and driving his Ford Ranger down the wrong side of the interstate and he wrecks... let's say he is injured and injures someone else. And no one has insurance. What now? Who was the big dumby head that doesn't deserve to be here according to your idea of 'survival of the fittest' (and give Herbert Spencer his props for that phrase)? People drink alcohol and end up with liver damage, smoke cigarettes and end up with cancer. Maybe their parents were top of the line pedigree? It really doesn't matter. The problem is that the healthcare system is fucked. It doesn't matter how. It just is and it needs fixed. I'm all for the sterilzation of greedy welfare people who pop out babies for a check.
