I'm listening to All Along the Watchtower... the Hendrix version and it's about to storm. How fitting is that? That song reminds me of a storm.
Growing up in Houston it seemed the radio stations loved to play "Riding the storm out" by REO Speedwagon when a hurricane hits they hardly played it otherwise. I like Steve Ray Vaughn "Couldn't stand the weather" -or- "The sky is cryin"
Pukey next time your at a volcano eruption make sure you have this on your ipod http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID9eBZPv21Y
I am a Zune person. Not an Ipod person. I love my Zune. I wouldn't own an Ipod. I don't know why. I think it's because they are so popular. Anyway, I am not really into guitar solos. I just like what I like. I don't like Van Halen. I like a few Van Hagar songs, like "Love Comes Walking In" and "Dreams". I'm not sure if I really like them or just like the memories they bring up. Reminds me of being a kid. That's why I like 80's music so much, I think.
Heh your just like me in that sense I'm anti-popular trend when it comes to that stuff also. I just have a regular MP3 player that works fine. I can't think of the brand name actually right now its in my car. People are idiots that get sucked into following the trends. Like watching all the stupid celebrities show off their homes which have impressive features but what do they do? They show you their stupid big screen TV. And your right we like the music that reminds us of the good times.
Ipods are tits as hell! I got mine free though I think that may be part of the reason I love it so much.
