That was cool. I wonder if someone had one as a pet, and talked to it, if it would talk like a Parrot. Talking birds freak me out.

I had a mocking bird that was always in my yard years ago, that did my cordless phone's exact ring, drove me crazy.

Cousin of mine had a parrot that would repeat phrases. Every time the phone rang, the wife would yell out "Fred! Telephone!" Pretty soon the parrot picked that one up, too. Every time the phone rang, and sometimes at random, the parrot would repeat those two words. Must have really sucked when the husband passed away.

    Worth seeing in its entirety.

At first I was like ... pffft no big deal its like an American Mocking Bird. But then I heard the chainsaws. Awesome video and pathetic at the same time.

I love lyrebirds. There was this one in the local bird sanctuary that imitates the sound of a gun being cocked - another possible song of it's own demise if it were Lomo behind said weapon.

That's insane. I wonder what their vocal cords are made of to be able to do that so perfectly?

If you ever go to San Antonio and get the chance the zoo there has a "Lesser bird of Paradise" That mimics all sorts of words. Its the best part of going to that zoo IMHO.

You have me sorely mistaken, and I'll be honest with you - I'm offended.

I posted this video as an attempt to increase awareness of the threat of habitat destruction. For you to insinuate that I would ever turn a weapon of mine (acquired for the specific cause of ending the life of either a looter or someone with ill will to my, or my company's well being,) is, quite frankly, gravely insulting.

I am honestly starting to think that I gave you more credit than you deserve.

Damn. Someone struck a chord with Lomo. I am not a big fan of guns (not against them either) I just dont care for them, but I agree with Lomo, shooting animals for 'sport' seems pretty asinine. I shot a bird with a bb gun when I was around 10, when I killed it I felt terrible, I put the gun up and never touched it again. Shooting in the name of self defense or freedom is one thing, killing to just kill something is kinda crazy.

When that bird starts singing "Why Can't This Be Love" by Van Halen... then I'll be impressed.

Don't feel TOO insulted lomo. If this bird threatened your safety by say... singing "Don't Worry Be Happy". I feel that is a reasonable excuse to blow its head off. Self Defense and all.

It wasn't meant as a one-two punch to the jaw, for Christ's sake. Besides, if I had set my sights on eradicating a species, it wouldn't be news anymore.

Respect the endangered... Unless, said endangered species fail the "Natural Selection" Quiz.

Id like to see Alligator skin apparel in style again. Not because I'd buy it but because I'd like to see the Alligator eradicated from the swamps. But then there would be the morons who think snake pets are cool letting Pythons loose in the swamps. Actually I'd like to see morons become extinct. We should sterilize them.

I think alligator IS in style, When I go to the mall I see tons of shoes, belts, purses, wallets, luggage ...for sale. And rap songs seem to be mentioning it a lot .. "my size 13 gators"

I've never been into reptiles and snakes, let alone having them as pets. I think they are kinda gross. I'm glad some people love them though.
