1971 Plymouth Cuda http://www.autotraderclassics.com/details?adId=85624750 Someone wanna buy it for me?
I also want an '85 Toyota MR2. That's a lot more reasonable price-wise. They are kinda ugly, but I like the boxy interior. I'm going to find something old and fun. I have to.
But I'll take a Dodge Challenger I like that shaker hood and just like the Dodge all around better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6G6HKpOhfM Something old something new http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnTvnFUhkHY&feature=related
I would also like an AMC Javelin. (This one is a '72) I love the AMC door handles. Reminds me of the old Eagles, which I thought were ugly as a kid and now I want one. Weren't they AWD?
Yea, I think the Eagles were AWD, or 4WD anyway. My sister had a 74 Gremlin, looks like they used the same door handles for all their cars.
Yeah, we had a Gremlin, a Pinto and a Chevette. Then we got a Bronco. Big step up. I remember my sister walked to school because she didn't want to be seen in the Pinto.
Did your Gremlin have the 'Levis' package? Hers had denim blue seats. It was awesome. I dont think I have ever had a car that ugly. 73 Duster, 75 Duster, S-10, 74 C-10, 87 K-5, 92 S-10, 88 Nissan, 94 Dakota, 95 Ram, 95 Mercury Mountaineer, 97 Ram, 01 Ram, 99 Ram, 04 Ram, 05 Ram, 02 SuperDuty. Crappy Work Cars - 89 CRX Si, 97 S-10, 89 Civic LX, 91 Accord EX, 93 Accord LX, 92 Accord DX, 93 Civic Ex, 92 Integra GS. Motorcycles - 91 Suzuki Katana 600 89 Suzuki Katana 750 Nope, nothing that ugly.
I have always liked the Javelin and they were cool on the inside as well if I remember correctly. If I had a choice for an AMC car it would be the AMX a shorter version of the Javelin it seemed with a 390 Ford motor. I went all through Mexico in the mid eighties I think they were making them new there in Mexico they were all over the place. Same for the Volkswagon.
I had a 'friend' that went to mexico and bought a 'new' bug. I think he got it in the early 90s. It looked like a brand new 1960s bug.
I can't stand the VW bugs, new or old. Especially new. The Azteks were made in Mexico. (Speaking of breathtakingly beautiful vehicles)
Not a bad deal really I bet he paid less than 5k? Decent gas mileage and over on the left coast still popular you could cherry it out ...would be sweet.
Cherry out a VW beetle? Blah. I'd rather have a Fiat 500. There is one for sale here in town and I kinda want to buy it. It runs, but I don't want to spend 4k on it. I think I'd look pretty sharp driving it. Too bad it maxes at like 40mph.
I would like to see her actually get in that car. There was a club here in Augusta that had one of them 3 wheeled BMWs, like steve erkle drove, and it was retarded small. The whole front swung out, then you got in and closed it. Yea, I dont want a car that weighs less than I do.....
It's a tiny car. I would look funny in it and I'm 5'7. I think instead of buying it, I will just carry it home.
If you want to feel fat, just get a geo metro. I think there is a weight requirment when you buy one. It's like no chick under 2 bills can get one. It's probably more elite than the Augusta National.
