Honestly... It's not a particular dream that keeps reoccurring, rather, a common thread that is present in each and every one of them. Barry hit the nail on the head with both counts here. The dreams are never the same, yet, they involve different scenarios, wherein the use of a firearm is necessitated. Granted, nothing that could be construed as 'illegal' - just use of the proper means of dealing with a situation that could have negative adverse consequences. For instance, a homeless man, deprived of his dignity and life itself, approaching someone and asking for money to buy some bread or a bottle of Dasani. Or, some pregnant woman, ready to introduce "another mouth" into society. For fuck's sake, I'M KIDDING with those examples, and despite the old adage that "Many a true word are often spoken in jest," I have to digress, as this is not the case.
I will one day refer to this passage as the "cry for help" that everyone ignored before the shots rang out into a hail of bullets.
