Good points except that Auburn is at home this weekend vs. LSU. They are not wearing white and this is not a road game. What does your math tell you now?

Last year: Night game at home vs. South Florida - AU lost in OT.

I agree they man up on big games. They beat Florida the past two games (UF's only blemish in their Nat'l Champ season 2 years ago). And AU was a last second play away from beating LSU (last year's Champ). BUT, I watched last Saturday's debacle against Miss St and unless the AU defense and Special Teams score, I can't see AU getting any points. Unless they bring back Kodi Burns to at least add the option/bootleg threat (nobody is biting on Chris Todd fakes), they don't have a chance.

How did I miss that? I'm firing my research team right now.

I still have a gut feeling that Aubie wins. Before you get too excited, please note that my gut feelings are almost always wrong.

How can a gut like that be wrong? :)

    Good point.

My gut also says that Troy beats Ohio State straight up. I can't help but think that the Troy players are laying awake at night thinking of the glory of being the 2nd bunch of Trojans to beat the Buckeyes this year.

I hope they give them a good game. Any chance that's televised?

Might be on ESPN.360. I watched Alabama/W. Kentucky on it last week for free. Converted the signal to the TV using Pinnacle, and it worked pretty good. Beats paying $29.00 for pay per view.

If Aub beats Ala, and they both are ranked, maybe Ala will still be ranked when they come to Athens..... I hope.

AL vs AU is the last game of each year (barring a hurricane). Just like your Dawgs and perennial powerhouse Georgia Institute of Technology.

Hey, leave the trekkies out of this.

    This is about football.

Well I hope we look better on Primetime than we did last weekend, but that was our usual game against SC. I need to check my schedule to see what other big games are on this weekend.

I checked into ESPN360 last night. That's awesome. I watched parts of the AU vs So Miss game that I missed and watched the OT in the WVa/Colorado game that I didn't stay up for on it this morning.

I won't miss any more games. I can hook my laptop to my Vizio and watch games now.

Yeah I thought it was pretty cool too. You pay for it as part of your internet service anyway.

I was by your house yesterday. The palm trees out front is huge. I had no idea it would get that big when I planted it. I thought it would reach a max height of 4-5 feet.

    Auburn's new offense

1st down: take a knee, run some clock, rest the defense
2nd down: take a knee, run some more clock, rest the defense
3rd down: lob a deep pass; encourage an interception; get into position to make the tackle, if this fails:
4th down: punt out of bounds
Play defense and try to run an interception or fumble back for 6
The key is to wear down the opponent’s offense

It's just crazy enough to work.

Bama tried that Shula's third year, and it produced 10 wins.

Of course it cost him his job the next.

Alabama's offense didn't look nearly as good as the score indicates. The offense only went 4-11 on third down. They broke a bunch of long runs, but really didn't consistently dominate. The defense gave up a bunch of yards (+300) and the time of possesion was more than 10 minutes in Arkansas' favor.

The four interceptions are deceptive. Two were gifts for touchdowns. I suspect that somebody paid off the Arkansas QB. (Two were spectacular though.)

I still like our chances against Georgia next week. So far I picked the Troy game with the points. I just need Tulane top hold on and for Auburn to lose by 2. I hope Georgia wins in quadruple overtime and has 22 starters out next week due to exhaustion.

Clemson pasting 54 on Spurriers Cocks? What the heck is that?

My prediction for the night - Georgia is looking ahead to Alabama and plays unimpressively for 3 quarters, but depth allows them to pull away in the 4th for a win.

WAR EAGLE. I really need for them to lose by 2.

How the help does Auburn SUCK so bad????? Blow a 4th quarter lead twice. Give up the touchdown and not a field goal. Cost me 86 dollars on a parlay.

Like I needed another reason to hate Auburn.

I told you that LSU -3 was a lock. Anyway, I thought AU addressed some offense problems and played pretty well despite the final score. Poor punting hurt the field position struggles.

Bama dominated an overmatched Hog team. Petrino loses the Liar Bowl.

UGA showed SEC dominance to the West Coast.

And the Vandy Commode Doors are still undefeated!

If LSU just kicks a field goal at the end I win the bet and the parlay. Auburn would have lost by two, I win big at the window, and Alabama trounces a SEC rival. It was almost a perfect day. Damn Auburn. Freeaking defense gives up 3 second half touchdowns.

Vandy beat a decent Mississippi team. Georgia looked strong. Their RB (Keshon?) is amazing. Alabama better put some cryptonite in their jock straps if they want to hold him in check. Georgias QB has a arm too. He threw a perfect TD pass off his back foot like it was nothing. Jamarcus Russell is the only other person I have seen that could do that easily.

I cashed out of the betting. You know something is wrong with an Alabama fan when Bama wins big, Auburn loses, and they are not happy.
