Taurus Model 44 Double Action Revolver - a.k.a. "The Judge"

I got a little antsy waiting for the AK-47 to arrive, so I went shopping this evening...

This fucking beast will shoot either 45 Long Colt or 410 shotgun shells. 3" barrel, 9" total length, 5 round revolver, Blued finish.

Size reference vs. .357 Magnum (2 in. barrel):

I've had to apply this to my trigger finger several times since I got home:

I'm with you, and I've got a fanny pack holster that might even hold that thing.

The anti-itch cream didn't work on my trigger finger, I'm afraid. I ended up plugging my (soon to be removed) tree with both a .45 Colt and a 410, shortly after posting this thread.

I love that the neighbors don't even bother calling the cops anymore.

With regards to this 9" shotgun, however, I can't help but be impressed with how little recoil there is when firing either round. This is truly a fun gun to shoot. I can't wait to try it out on the ranch.

When I fired off the 410 round last night, I had a friend on the phone, 2 km away (1.25 mi) - even though he was directly behind the angle in which I shot, he still heard it loud and clear.

BTW: The Judge is available in both a 3" and 6.5" barrel, I chose the 3" in 'blue' (read: black), as it's less visible (obviously), and goddamn it looks good.

And... The AK should be arriving this week... :)

You're just pissed off because you spent $12 on a William Powell cookbook online...

I wonder if Lomo specially cleared his desk off for those photos? If not, he must be OCD, because even my desk isn't that clean. It's girlie, but not clean.

    Surprisingly cheap...

    Academy: $489.99

Ten bucks less than any of the three 9mm Glocks I'd been looking at.

Oh, yes. You couldn't even fucking see the desk before I took that picture. I spent more time cleaning that damn corner than taking the fucking pictures themselves.

Fuck - I can barely ever find a place for my beer on most occasions.

I have kept it cleaner since the pictures, however, and right now, I've got room for not only my cold beer, but also the nine empties next to it... :)

My desk has on it papers, pens, letters, a USB drive, keys, a phone, Lindt wrappers; a waste paper bin beside my desk with more rubbish outside it than in it, and a 3 Cruiser Ice empties on top of my computer case. Bit of a pigsty, but who cares?

It's your fucking desk, right? Who gives a fuck? Make it 'user friendly' - that's my motto, except when I'm taking pictures to post on Fugly or for eBay purposes (mostly the latter...)

I've seen those, and have been interested, but I really wanted a 9mm next to (if nothing else) diversify my arsenal.

Granted, I'll eventually end up with both... which two models do you recommend?

9mm, (go .357, Sig) and ruger p-92 or Beretta briggader. .4 I am tried and true Para Ordnance. dont get the sub compact, get the p-12 (not p-10 its TOOOOOO small) but he "warthog" p-12 with heavy steel frame, fires like a 9mm, with 45 ACP power. 11 round one in the chamber, if you want accuracy, para p-17, is a 1911 clone, but is hella heavy, staggared 16 round magaznes,

fits right in your pocket, just wear a belt, they are solid steel frames, so very heavy, and ZERO recoil

I just got home from firing off a whole compliment of 410 shells from my car just now, fucking sucks being this far away from the 'wide open spaces' I'm used to... So I have to unload a few rounds on the outskirts of town (yet still within city limits, go fig.)

I'm going to look into what you posted after I sober up, fire a few 410's from my spare bathroom window, and receive the AK. Not in that order, of course. :)

It was funny, however, when I plotted my route, and ended up approaching an uncharted military base.

Homeland Security sucks. Had to completely improvise. Took me a fucking hour, too.

    Goddamn government...
