Sure it did! You just didn't pay attention to the mainstream media! Didn't you get the memo? Everyone in the world earned higher wages, paid less interest on mortgages, had softer bowel movements, won the lotto, were provided with complementary lap dances at every strip club, and even had governmentally-subsidized workers come to their houses to clean their toilets for them! I wonder if Rick does not feel like fooling with it. He likes it where he is at? But he would sure as hell get some votes me thinks. I think McCain should pick Thompson. A lot od people think he will pick Huckabee who I think is as close to Carter as someone wearing a Repub name tag can get.
