Hunts is sick. I consider it 'catsup'. Heinz is one of the few things I insist on buying label. Most anything else, I can buy the store equivalent.
I don't know what you are talking about. Heinz is great and they own Ore-Ida and I could live on their Easy Fries.
But you should buy Heinz because John Kerry earned 3 purple hearts in Vietnam. It does look kinda like coagulated blood.
I don't even put it on hamburgers or hot dogs, usually. The packets that you get at many fast-food joints are Heinz and I use them sometimes. I am adamant about my mayo, though.
Back when I ate it, I would do mayo only and not Miracle Whip. Yuck. I hate that stuff (MW). Now I eat Veganaise. It tastes very similar to mayo, actually better... it's also like 9 bucks a jar. Anything 'fake' is always overpriced.
Si. I am not a ketchup aficionado (sp?) but Mayo has to be Dukes, Mustard is pretty much Heinz, Hidden Valley for your Ranch (if you dont make it yourself). Log Cabin Syrup and blueberry biscquick pancake mix.
I'm weird about ketchup. I've not eaten places because they served Hunts and not Heinz. I'd eat whatever mayo... it always grossed me out a little. I can't see it or smell it or I get sickened. As far as ranch went, Wishbone, Ken's or Hidden Valley, not Kraft or Marzetti. I pretty much do Italian only and Wishbone and Ken's make the best. I bring my own Italian dressing to Subway. I'm a pain in the ass to eat with. I will eat whatever syrup. I have been wanting to try blackstrap molasses because I read it is good for you.
I only like the ranch that I make (Hidden Valley) with the powder, mayo, and milk. I use Kraft mayo, which I only use in dressing and pasta salad - it's not my mayo of choice. I only like the Bama mayo (weird, huh?)
Wow, I didn't realize people were so picky. I just f*cking love food. And ketchup, everything is good smothered in cheese and ketchup. Then again, I refuse to eat any cheese except for those single sliced, single packaged, really processed cheese.... It melts the best.
I just hate it when some smothers a good steak or pork chops with ketchup. Then again, I don't use 57 or A-1. I just gnaw it soaked in it's own blood.
I use A-1 if they cook it too much. It imitates blood only a bit thicker...but I have a good imagination.
