I'm finished silence of the lambs and am now reading the prequel red dragon and then I guess I will read Hannibal. I should have started with Red Dragon went to Silence of the Lambs and then Hannibal to read them in the right order. It's a pretty good.

No it's like I'm starting a topic in a dead forum. You perpetually miss the point it must be tough going through life like that.

Well ,for starters , it's books YOU'RE reading right now, it's just that it's hard for me to believe that you can read when you can't even spell...but for the sake of this thread I am going to pretend that you are in fact a doctor and that you can read...
I'm reading "The Omnivore's Dilemma" by Michael Pollan.

I tried to watch "Red Dragon" and it sucked. Actually it was "Manhunter".

Not even a hint of truth? I would imagine hanging out with some residents in the Dr's lounge it pays to have something more to talk about than uber cool web links like two girls one cup.

Anyways I used to read quite a bit but do not seem to find the time these days. Or maybe I do not make the time.

Isnt it amazing how when you get older you dont have time to read? I mean you are stuck doing grown up things, like remodeling a bathroom, or coaching little league. I think its funny that on all the 'home improvement' shows they always say, "Its a nice place to curl up with a good book", yea like most people have time to do that.

Taking advice from an english major, is a bit like masterbating, at first it's interesting, but in the end you are just fucking yourself!

Reading: Brewers dictionary of Phrase & Fable. Its good stuff, can find out the origins to sayings and words, like 'limey'. (Which I knew anyway)

Lah-tee-dah. I have a high school diploma that reads July 1995 instead of May like all of my friends because I failed my senior year and had to take summer school. I was more interested in getting stoned first thing in the morning than going to English class.

I was forced to go to community college because I was arrested a month after graduation for 'drug paraphernalia' and school was my punishment, so I enrolled and bought all new books and then never went to any of my classes. Again, I was more interested in getting stoned. I did this for a couple of years and got kicked out three times. I can't believe you get kicked out of community college for failing all of your classes. I mean, they got paid, so what the fuck do they care?

So I have nothing and will be nothing (see Barry is right... drugs are bad, mmkay?) and the only thing I regret is wasting my parents' money. You couldn't pay my ass to go to school. I puked every morning growing up I hated it so bad. I have the attention span of a gnat and still have nightmares that I'm 30 years old stuck in high school.

Umm... so those are my feelings about 'higher education'. At least I was good at the first part.

    You are awesome.

I dropped out, went to the 'real world' then went back to school later.
